What's the point of charging express…

What's the point of charging express shipping when regardless of shipping method it's not going to come for 1 - 2 weeks after the expected delivery day... Every single time I receive a package through Canada Post it's an issue.

I asked my my home postman the other…

I asked my my home postman the other day when he was delivering ..is anyone delivering packages out of our post office in Grimsby. This is March 31st by the way, I said I am asking because I have a package that was sent to me within Ontario 6 days ago and have yet to receive. Was supposed to be a 2 day, paid extra for that. I guess your short staffed and with the Covid 19 deal and that the post office is running behind a bit maybe, I get it and understand if thats whats slowing it down. He said clearly and quickly "absolutely not" . Every single employee is working and due to Covid 19 they have no back log of packages whatsoever that I know of . Actually its down due to people not buying products as much. I said I paid expresspost for a 2 day service and he said you should have got it long ago for sure if you paid for 2-3 day delivery. The app is useless due to the fact it keeps changing dates day after day with the same expected date of delivery being a week ago earlier. This item says now its been processesed in Stoney Creek yesterday finally...and still being processed again today ..its been sitting there for almost 2 days. I ordered an item from Walmart last Thursday morning from my computer and got it Friday morning by UPS !!!!. Fedex trucks and Purolator trucks and Amazon delivery people have been up and down my street 2 to 3 times a day for over a week and no sign of Canada Post. They need to stop selling you on the extra $ to get your package within a certain time frame when they cant possibly commit in getting it there altogether, let alone early. I recommend that no one use this terrible service, use Fedex, UPS anyone other than them. Just a reminder like the Postman said this has nothing to do with Covid 19 and it was mailed within Ontario to be delivered in Ontario..8 agonizing day ..7 days late so far. So...going into day 8 tomorrow with no were in site of when I may see this package delivered. If I could give this review a 0 I would but there was no option. Never again will I use such a horrendous delivery service. They need to go back to the drawing board and rework their entire delivery system as the one they have now just does not work and asking customers to pay extra for better service when they cant deliver that service is just gouging and ripping off the consumer. Hopefully down the road better days for Canada Post as of now they are just a disorganized mess! Good Luck. You couldnt get me to use their service again if it was tottaly " FREE"

Beware Saint Denis de Brompton post office

I've had to call the post office in Saint Denis de Brompton Qc, on a couple of occasions. I have rarely spoken to a more rude, impolite person. If Canada Post can't find more polite personnel maybe they should look into an automated service. Very disappointed with the service I received. Once a person could be having a bad day. 2 or 3 times you are just a miserable individual and should seek employment where you don't have to speak to people.

I took my 91 year old father to Canada…

I took my 91 year old father to Canada post to verify in person that it was him who required mail forwarding. I had paid a week prior online for mail forwarding service but was required to take him in person which I did today. My dad provided his Canadian citizenship card which has picture ID as proof that it was him. The person behind the desk said: "no this is not acceptable. Bring passport". I asked why as my dad himself was standing in front of him, with picture ID in hand. The rude man just said no, bring passport. The government of Canada permits people to become citizens of Canada but Canada Post does not accept that! Really! Has anyone told Canada post that to be eligible to get a Canadian passport, you FIRST need to become a citizen? This truly is appalling. Not only was my elderly parent made to feel useless but Canadian issued picture ID isn't good enough for canada post. My payment online for mail forwarding service was taken immediately a week ago.... now we just don't have service for which we paid for. Oh and good luck trying to file a complaint.

Worst service i have ever experienced

Worst service i have ever experienced. Registered my mail but they themselves cannot even track the whereabouts of my mail. I was told in 3 days time my mail will be delivered, 7 days past and still no new story about my mail. Better use other courier. Really BAD!!!
