I recently purchased a Camaro from Anthony at Carco. As an interstate purchaser I was a little nervous with purchasing a vehicle site unseen. Anthony soon had me feeling comfortable with the videos he was sending pointing out the minor nicks and scratches that couldn’t be seen in the pictures. I found him to be very honest and accommodating with his quick responses to my messages I didn’t need to fly over to see the vehicle. When the vehicle arrived it was as he described.I was very happy with my service from Anthony and Carco.Keep up the good work team.
I recently enquired about a 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor listed online by CarCo Midland. The vehicle was clearly advertised with aftermarket rims and tires, a key detail that caught my attention. However, upon arriving at the dealership, I immediately noticed that the wheels had been switched out — replaced with stock rims, one of which was damaged and rusted. That alone set the tone for what became an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. When I questioned the salesman, Colin, about the wheel swap, he had no explanation. He couldn’t answer several other basic questions about the car either. After a brief consultation with his manager, I was told that the original wheels were “still available,” but by this point, the credibility of the listing was already in serious doubt. When Colin returned, instead of addressing my concerns properly, he asked whether I wanted to proceed with a trade-in valuation. I explained that I first needed to see and drive the Raptor in the condition it was advertised — with the correct wheels — since handling and performance differ with different setups. His response? Colin suggested that I should simply “picture the car with the right wheels” and proceed as if they were fitted. To make matters worse, he began checking his watch repeatedly, as though I was the one wasting his time. This experience was completely unprofessional from start to finish. If the dealership had simply been transparent — or had updated the listing to reflect the car’s true condition — it would have saved me a wasted trip and a great deal of frustration. In short, CarCo Midland failed to deliver even the most basic level of honesty and customer respect. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise potential buyers to verify every detail before visiting, lest you end up with the same disappointment I did. What a thoroughly unpleasant and unprofessional experience.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Carco Midland that was advertised as having a big brake upgrade and 20inch rims and I was told it would have a full detail before I picked it up. Well after taking it to Walkinshaw performance they informed me this was not the case as it had standard brakes and only 18inch rims and tires and that the car obviously had driven through lots of mud as the whole underbody was coated in copious amounts of mud and reids and on inspection the inside of the vehicle wasn't clean either as it had food scraps under the front seats. So I'm very disappointed as it was an expensive vehicle. So I'm in the process of speaking to the ACCC to see if I can get anywhere with this
Danny contacted us to purchase our Kolios. We had a seamless transaction with Danny talking us through the whole process via face time. Even offering to travel the 4.5 hour to view and pick up the car. Thank you Would recommend Daniel Levertt to anyone considering selling their car.
Ist is like to give no stars 28/6/25 purchased my 79 series land cruiser dream car for my off road adventure, $103,000 Happy with the salesman , Ashwin , but he did not know he was selling a car unfit to drive and actually illegal ! Could not drive it away had not been through the service centre so had to wait 1 week whilst they repaired the seat , collect car spent, air compressor didn’t work , water pump didn’t work . Air tank leaking couldn’t be fixed easily , side lights never worked , stereo I fixed wire loose , sent back for repairs , sent out to 3rd party for repairs I had to drop it there and collect it , also reverse camera never worked , all got repaired thx , put solar on my car $4000 . Bang pulled over for speeding as the speedo is 11 kms out 2 demerit points $200 , my bad , but illegal exhaust and no muffler no DPF which I had to find out myself had been removed , Police we nice to not yellow sticker the car ! Went back to Carco asked what the , they have since by a 3rd party replaced exhaust with muffler and DPF and now turbo leaking also needed replaced , thxs also illegal window tint had to repair this also , sorry hard to keep up , now all up no car at least 3 weeks off and on , also spare tyre is incorrect size as not the same as on car ! Told today that they only need to supply a spare wheel good enough to get you to a repairer, even if it blows a diff I asked , ? just went today 9/9/25 to collect my car after all this and guess what it would not start flat battery ! Yes all true you can’t make this up ! And there’s more they put a new battery in I wait unattended for 45 mins and on the drive home the admission light comes on and TRC light , now tomorrow this car will need to be returned for further repair , fixing , All up the Service people have not helped in any way I have needed to chase everything up and repeat myself over and over to different people who in my opinion do not care . Lamya warranty person has been good and helped getting repairs done and has repaired all faults so far this is true , But seriously this sale is stuff for Consumer Protection as clearly this car was not fit for purpose and I’ll have a refund please plus my added cost of transfer cost and solar , So my experience has never been considered as the stress it has caused me over 2 months and still on going , Long read but all facts , I also have been accused of being rude whilst my tone of voice was not acceptable from service staff , I wonder why , Remember their add states a 200 point service check .Not ! Regards disgruntled buyer and what a joke ,I’d not recommend them to my enemies. And already several friends have shopped elsewhere! Will be glad when this is over
If I could give lower than 1 star I would !!! We bought a 200 series landcruiser from CARCO in midland and since buying it have had disgusting service from the dealership. We paid extra for the extended warranty and guarantee. Our car was parked up for almost 12wks because my husband injured himself and could not drive. I have been in and out of it over the weeks but when I went to drive it last week the carpet was wet. I called the dealership and asked them to have a look at it. She booked me in and I specifically asked for her to make sure they checked over the whole car. Assured they would check the whole car I left it with them. I took photos of every panel inside and out the night before and thankfully I did. 3hrs after I dropped it off she sent me a message to tell me the car was ready to be picked up, they had found the leak but they dont cover water damage !!! The leak they found was in the roof in the boot. Once they found that they stopped looking. I asked if they looked at the whole car and she was so rude saying yes they had, when I told her I knew they hadn't she became more verbally aggressive stating that she knew they had looked through the whole car and the report reflected such. When I presented the photos of the MOULD that was in the front half of the car she became even more agitated. She forced my keys at me and I thought she might jump the counter at me when I asked for the report to be printed. We have now had to pay more than $2000 to go through insurance to get our VERY expensive vehicle fixed. 10/10 would not recommend this dealership.
If I could give a lower review I would. We purchased a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee set from Carco in 2023, the lifters let go a few months after owning the vehicle. They apparently replaced the engine, brand new long block. 1.5 years later, the lifters have let go again. All Jeep specialists I’ve spoken to said that would never happen with a genuine new long block. Carco has now lost the engine number and all documentation from the engine swap. Mind you they also didn’t change the engine number on paperwork so my insurance has been void for the last year and a half. I got an email saying to send them the engine number so she can complete her paperwork 😂 only after requesting the warranty and the receipt and documentation of engine number swap so I can show my insurance provider that it was definitely a new motor installed. When they installed the last motor they also broke half of my interior plastics & the radiator needed replacing two weeks after installation. This is just the beginning, I’ve been trying to get through to them for days. Multiple calls all with ‘ I’ll get someone to call you back in 10-15 minutes’ no one calls. They’re the dodgiest caryard I’ve ever dealt with and I will be seeking legal action.
After driving a number of Hyundai Kona's we thought the one at Carco performed best. Our rep Jake was able to secure a very good trade in price for our 20 year old Getz and gave us a very good deal overall. The front bumper looked to have had a scrape and they fixed that as part of our final price for no extra cost. The car passed an external mechanic test easily. Great service from these guys.
