My experience with CarWizz was extremely disappointing. The company applied undisclosed extra charges and refused to resolve the issue despite clear evidence. This reflects a serious lack of transparency and respect for consumer rights. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.
Carwiz Warsaw is a scam. They add on fabricated fees after you return the rental. I even returned it with MORE gas than they gave me from the start and still charged me a refueling cost! Very difficult to get in touch with after you return the vehicle. Will never use again. Stay away.
Guy on desk professional and explained things well.Overall please with car despite v. uncomfortable seat, no washer fluid and poor rear wiper. Biggest gripe I was not aware I had to return car valeted inside and out.I normally go reduced insurance but had no alternative but to pay full package which was much more expensive , so the car didn't need cleaning. This needs explaining when renting the car online , not at rental desk. My deposit was returned very quickly after car was checked out.
Scam company (Gdansk airport)avoid no matter how good price of rental is. Cars are prepared with waxing and polishing to hid small scratches and they will appear on the day you do carwash. They will charge you for dirty car even if was washed and valeted. They are not answering emails in thee dispute-they just inform you what you have been billed for. In 15 years of renting cars did not have such a experience and did not trust the negatives reviews here tempted with the rental price. It was mistake. Do not rent from them!!!
At the airport there was no one waiting for me with a sign, as I was informed and according the documents I got. Shuttle was not able to come and pick me up after a phone call (I had to wait 30 min and was recommended to walk there). So I had to walk around 15 min to get there (if you don't have a gps, it is very difficult to get there). The brush ro clean the cristal were not cleaning at all, so that the window stayed quite dirti during my trip. It was obvious that they were not changing the brush nor checking for a good while because it was obvious to notice it.
My flight on 13/09/25 from Split to Lublin was rescheduled for more than 12h. I decided to fly from Zadar to Rzeszów on the same day. I had car booked in Lublin. Carwiz office contacted me and asked me what I want to do as the airport was closed due to military operations. I have asked for a car in Rzeszów instead and could it be organised for me as I was under a lot of stress trying to get from Zadar airport to split airport in Croatian I had only 2,5 hours to make the journey as I needed to get back to Poland on the 13/09/25. The company went far beyond what I could expect. Katarzyna, Adrian and Eryk were so supportive and kept me informed. They have organised everything for me and waited in Rzeszów airport with the car. I have got an automatic car in Rzeszów as I requested for Lublin. I have to say the people working for the company are amazing and very helpful. I think that everyone should learn from those young people how to deliver the highest quality of customer care. Thank you very much once again. Highly recommended and appreciated
Collect the car with no problem at Poznan airport. After 8 days, I dropped the car at Szczecin airport, as we booked.There was no representative from CARWIZ company present at Szczecin airport, and attempts to contact your team via telephone DAYS PRIOR were unsuccessful.The keys were left at the information desk at Szczecin airport.It was 21:00, and the person at the information desk advised leaving the key and carpark ticket with them.My credit card was charged 60 EUR, and after talking to customer service, they said that the car was dropped off 3 days later.
AVOID THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY. Horrible customer experience. They have fraudulent business practices. Shocked this company continues to operate. We had the rental car for less than 24 hours. We took numerous photos of the entire vehicle when it finally arrived (2 hours late) to show the condition. We also took photos when dropping the vehicle off. The Carwiz representative said the car looked good and we could leave; however, we asked for written sign-off that the inspection was good. She said the inspection would happen the next day but we requested the inspection while we were there. The whole experience was horrible and too much happened to outline in a review. Lesson learned. We had several photos of the pre and post condition of the rental showing no damage. Even with the photos showing no damage to the car, we are in an ongoing dispute with the car rental company regarding charges for damage. Frustrating experience. DO NOT USE this company. Learned this is their common practice.
