* I purchased a Hannaford gift card for my mother for Christmas 2024. * I paid for priority shipping. * Ten days have passed and it still hasn't arrived. * The USPS link continues to show only that a shipping label has been produced. It may have never shipped. * The CashStar rep was pretty clearly a bot. * It was horribly slow, too. * The bot did not resolve the issue. It just wasted my time. EDIT: * I decided to ask for a refund. * The bot said I'd get the fee back, too. * I got an email the same day. I got the refund two days later. * I did not get the fee. CASHSTAR / Hanniford skunked me for the fee!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.
I wrote a review a few weeks ago after I had also purchased gift cards as a Christmas present for our new Playstation- I was replied to by 'cashstar' but in the reply they wanted me to click a link- I am not falling for that one- refund the $125 that you owe me and the rest of the money that you owe people- ridiculous!!
Total scam, I purchase 75$ gift card and it arrived with invalid code, have been trying for weeks and can not redeem it in PlayStation store. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Scammers will eventually face the worst retribution in life. Remember, all the money you obtained through fraud will return into your calamity. -They claimed they sent me an email to discuss the issue, but I never received it. It’s a lie or a fake gesture trying to show they are responsible enough to take actions on the bad reviews, but they NEVER CONTACTED ME.-UPDATED ON 11th JanDear Josh, you need to stop lying. The email address you attached in your response is INVALID, it’s an auto notification address that you can not reply. Stop pretending you are trying to work on the poor reviews here to fix your image, it will not change the fact that it is a SCAM.
Charges showed up out of nowhere. Received a link and phone number for questions. Been on hold for over 30 minutes with no hope in sight.Edit: I have no messages in response to this inquiry or any of my support emails sent today despite the response here on TrustPilot.Edit 2: This seems to be the best way to communicate with them. Sounds like I may get some resolve soon. Looking forward to finding out what happened to my account in this fraud involving my email address and name.

It was to late for my gift to arrive on time so don’t bother with the apology Just fix the issue Either fix the tie zone issue, let purchasers know when the gift card email will be sent to the recipient or remove this as an option and send at time of purchase. ordered a e-gift card- I did not receive the email for access to the e-gift card. Tried calling the lady put me on hold forever, so I tried chatting. I was told they attempted but said message failure. Meanwhile I received the email of payment to them from pay pal. I could just imagine had I sent it directly to the recipient I would not know if it would have been sent. It took an over an hour to fix this issue via chat, they would not refund the money even though they could not send it, they would not reissue through text, insisted on another email. I had to create another email account just for this purpose. So if they screw up you will have to spend a good amount of time trying to sort it out. No refunds even if they screw up- unethical. I do not recommend purchasing a gift card through them.
