Paid $200 for a gift card that got approved money taken out they then canceled the gift card never refunded it and are trying to claim it paid through PayPal so it's their problem after knowing that I paid directly from my bank account. They're refusing to refund my $200 so I'll be contacting my banks fraud department since they've obviously tried scamming me. I tried asking them to refund my money multiple times and I was told they don't have it even though my bank confirmed that they do. I'll be contacting my banks fraud department on Monday to report this company for scamming me out of $200 and refusing to refund my money. They have their employee Carlos A. to thank for that.
Update Jan 07, 2025....Nearly a month later and still no response from Josh despite chasing....will update when they get back to me.Called Topgolf in Glasgow as my gift…Called Topgolf in Glasgow as my gift card had expired by 5 days. Was told to contact CashStar. The number was constantly engaged so emailed customer service. Had a reply saying nothing they can do because the expiration date is hard coded in our system, we are unable to extend the promotional period or override the expiry date. Tried calling again, same problem constantly engaged. I have never in all my years heard of a company that wouldn't extend a voucher by a few days. Not at all happy with CASHSTAR or Topgolf for that matter. Garbage company don't buy anything from them especially if you want gift cardsI tried buying PlayStation gift cards from these assholes but they didn't email me the cardsThere customer care team responds after like 10 hours and they reposed like robots always taking care to avoid answering your questions or even going even close to addressing your concerns and issues
Pretty sure it's a scammer. I bought a playstation gift card for my nephew in South Africa. But it won't work because the gift card only works in the UK region. And now they are saying the gift card is non refundable eventhough when I purchased the gift card the email I received clearly stated I have 14 days to get a refund.
Horrible, bought a $12 Roblox Gift card for my little cousin and as soon as i purchase it, it tells me "It is unable to process your Gift Card". It tells me that I'd be receiving a refund BUT, I HAVE YET TO GET MY REFUND!! I want this fix now or i will be contacting my bank for theft.

I was charged by this company for gift cards I did not authorize. Fraudulent charges. I had to cancel my credit card. I contacted the company and was promised a full refund and have yet to receive and the time I was told to allow for refund has passed. My bank is involved and soon the authorities. Scamming people during the holidays takes a special person.
Bought $225 Ulta gift cards online. Within about 4 days, received big envelope at post office with 4-$50 cards, missing the $25 one. The gift cards were mailed USPS with no tracking and no invoice enclosed. Back and forth with CashStar. Finally it is after ten business days and they said they are processing my request for replacement card. I requested FEDEX or UPS, or at the least put tracking on it. I suspect an employee at CashStar or USPS or a mail thief stoled Wasted so much time already and next time I will pay attention to see if there is a 3rd party company involved. If it is Cashstar, forget it. Only bought the Ulta gift cards online since I received a bonus gift certificate to use after Christmas. Tho offer was not valid instore.
