I purchased a €50,- Playstation Gift Card on March 28th. The money was deducted directly from my bankaccount, but I have never received a Playstation Gift Card by email. I have filled in the form on their website for 11 times in the last 5 weeks, no reply at all. After this I have sent three emails within two weeks their official email. It's just a dead end where nobody replies but still takes your money without given a Playstation Gift Card which I have obviously paid for. Absolute scam, please don't by anything via CashStar. I see they reply within two days via TrustPilot, so curious if this helps to get some communication with this awfull company.Update on 11-5: They "resolved" the case after my review on Trustpilot by letting me know they cannot help any further. They stole my €50,- euro's. Huge shame. Here is the message:Hello Karel! Thank you so much for your patience regarding this matter. We have received a communication from our payments team, and according to the information they shared with us, they do not have visibility to check payments for the German department. In this case, their best advice is to contact your financial institution so they can help you void the transaction. We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience, we understand how frustrating it could be, and we wish we would have been of more assistance. Should you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Had no idea this company existed until I tried and failed to use a $100 Ikea gift card. I call Ikea, they can see that it has a $100 balance, but it will not work on their website no matter what I try. They tell me to call Cashstar, and surprise! Their automated menu makes it impossible to talk to a human, and when I find the option to do so, it REDIRECTS ME TO IKEA. So Ikea/Cashstar have $100 and I've got a gift card that is useless. And now I can see from their glowing 2 star reviews that this isn't an uncommon problem. DO NOT buy gift cards from this company!!!
I purchased a Home Goods gift card through Cash Star as I thought it was "safer" than sending a plastic card through the mail. WRONG! After having it emailed to my friend as a gift - she was unable to use it at Home Goods. I spent 2 weeks back & forth with Home Goods & Cash star - only to find out TODAY that the card was used in St. Charleston, IL 5 days after I bought it. My friend had not even gone to the Home Goods yet to use it. I live in Nevada, my friend is in AZ. Someone from Cashstar obviously sent the email to their friend in IL! I'm out $100 and both Home Goods and CashStar are saying....no refunds if lost or stolen. I should have mailed a physical card! GEEZE! CASHSTAR....you need to monitor your employees!
Purchased a $75 USD PlayStation digital gift card to use for buying US games from my US account. Had to go down this path as I’m in Australia and the PS3 no longer accepts any form of payment for digital purchases on the PSN except for gift cards. Purchase was easy through PayPal and I received the gift card code within 30 min. Code redeemed perfectly with my PSN. Thanks ladies and gents :)

Went to purchase a $10 roblox gift card for a friend's birthday, had my order cancelled for seemingly no reason (I don't understand how it can considering it's all automated??), and have not been refunded. They've just taken my cash, said "Oops, we were not able to process your order" and then ran off with my money.I'm appalled at the fact Roblox chose to work with this company to process their payments now. Roblox's in-house system for payment management system was far better. NOTE: There is no option to pay via Paypal. Do not give them your bank/card details!
