Bought a $100 GIANT FOOD STORES Gift card yesterday, money was withdrawn through PayPal from the debit account. Received an email with the confirmation and order #... 45 minutes later another email was received with "We're sorry. We were unable to process your eGift Card order from Giant Food Stores. Settled charges will be refunded to the original form of payment."The money hasn't been refunded. Called both numbers for customer service yesterday, a total waste of time, literally no helpful at all. Both people only have a script that they follow saying "we can only see an error that it didn't go through". Don't even know what the error is or what happened. They're telemarketing companies who provide a service to CashStar. Have no access to CashStar system or contact with GIANT FOOD STORES, and they claimed that it was a hold, when their email and the transaction through PayPal shows that the money was charged, otherwise if it were only a hold, why would they mentioned that the charges will be refunded?Refund the money today, within the next minutes. Order #CND6MHCJ9DUPDATE 10/14/2024:7 days have past and NO REFUND has been done, nor any contact has happened whatsoever from GIANT / CASHSTAR or anyone responsible for customer service.This is a big DISAPPOINTMENT and a SHAMEFUL way to conduct your business!!!Money must be refunded TODAY, no excuses.
Same problem as you all, bought a $30 us roblox giftcard, took the money and didn't even send me an email. I don't even know how they managed to get linked to official roblox but there is definitely a problem.Update: sorry I have already received a gift card elsewhere, would you mind refunding me as soon as possible.
I bought 2 giftcards totaling €260, the order went through and they even charged my credit card, but then I received an email saying they were unable to process my order and that I was going to receive a refund, but I still haven’t received it!! Terrible Service and Unreliable I recently purchased a €200 gift card, and immediately received an email stating that my order had failed. Despite this, my account was still charged. I contacted CashStar support, who promised a refund, but I haven’t received anything yet.It’s shocking that such a reputable platform like Roblox partners with a company that handles payments so poorly. Looking through other reviews, I’ve found many people have experienced the same issue with delayed responses and no clear resolution.Avoid using CashStar at all costs—they take your money and make you wait forever to get it back, if you ever do. This whole experience has been frustrating and unacceptable.
A week ago i tried to buy two 10$ roblox robux card, both times i recieved the message "unable to process", after that i sent an email to their support team and recieved an email telling me to wait 72 hours to get my money back, btw i have been waiting more than 7 days for my refund. No further tries to help me, just an email that made nothing. Terrible customer service.UPDATE 17/10/24Yesterday i got my refund, it took 2 weeks approximately, i would advise to buy physical gift cards since it seems that online ur order could randomly be unable to process. They gave the money back and responded quick after the review, upgrading to 3 stars.
Terrible company, they just copy paste the exact same few replies to everyone lying about how they're trying to help them, do not buy anything from them. I bought a £75 roblox gift card for myself and it went through then they said it cannot be processed, would give a refund, but never refunded. They are probably going to reply to this with the same bot reply like everyone else.Update: After contact I recieved money pretty quick so I have editted this review to 3 stars as it was a fast refund but had to contact.
