Booked a trip on their site where it clearly states repeatedly that you can cancel and get a full refund within 24 hours. I canceled within 3 hours of booking the trip and now they are telling me I’m not eligible for a refund. As of now, I’m out over $9k! The crazy part is that the flights I booked are absolutely refundable within 24 hours of purchase (United airlines policy) and I called the hotel and they said the room is refundable as well since it was within 24 hours. So Cheap Caribbean is not only keeping my amount paid but also the refunds from the airline and hotel. This company is a complete scam. I will never book with them again and will take every action available to get my money back.
Cheap Caribbean has the worst customer service I have had to deal with in a long time. They made an error and took absolutely no responsibility for that. I booked three rooms (1-Me/Husband; 2-My son/girlfriend; 3-Daughter/Boyfriend.) Instead, they only booked two of them, my children, NOT US WHO PAID FOR THE TRIP!). When they were notified, they took no actions to rectify the situation. The hotel found another room for us, but stated we may have to switch the next day. Which I think is ridiculous, having to unpack, repack, unpack again. Especially after paying $12,000 for this trip. They also made an error with the $500 excursion I pre-booked. They said we took the trip when we weren’t even in the country. They tried to put the blame back on the hotel. But of course the hotel pushed it back onto Cheap Caribbean since we booked our trip through them. If you want to spend five hours waiting on hold and being disconnected several times along with getting the runaround? Then this must be the company for you. I will never use this company ever again. And I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about it.Attention Trust Pilot. I already contacted your lousy company. You said you’ll do nothing to make this right. AVOID CHEAP CARIBBEAN. Reach out directly to hotel, airline and car rentals.
CheapCaribbean is horrible, called, got the run around for an hour to use my credits, if you offer on your site Hotel and flights and Hotel only and cruise, credits should be used anyway you want. There are hidden, same trip through my own instead of cheap caribbean.,on my own was cheaper. RUN! RUN! RUN! don't use cheap caribbean.
Don’t book with them…..I’m not going to go into all the details other than to say they changed the itinerary after we booked the flight, hotel package to Costa Rica… they agreed to a full refund including our travel insurance as they changed what we had agreed to which amounted to $3300 usd. Then we never heard from them for over a month and they then sent an email giving us travel credits at a reduced level than what we originally paid. When we tried to call or email they are nowhere to be found.WHAT A DISASTER THIS COMPANY IS,,,,,,stay away…..I sure wish I would have done my due diligence.
This company is AWFUL and their customer service is even worse.We have had several bad experiences purchasing on cheap Caribbean and last one we booked a room on cheap Caribbean and my family on Expedia.com. I arrived and got the economy crappy room and my family who were smart to use Expedia received a normal room.I complained to the manager and even he was comparing cheap Caribbean to Expedia saying that cheap Caribbean was inferior to Expedia. Shortly after he threatened to have me physically removed from the hotel which I had never encountered in my life. This happened at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Cancun which I would never recommend unless you want to have a bad experience.I then complained to cheap Caribbean or Apple leasure group and they responded that they investigated and basically putting the blame on me.Never use Cheap Caribbean no matter how good their price may be because you get what you pay for and this group does clearly not believe in customer service or customer satisfaction.They ruined my family’s trip and my mom’s 80 year birthday and my anniversary.Terrible company!!!! Use Expedia instead, never have had any issues
Reservation # DR0010CJI’m going to start by saying cheap Caribbean is the worst agency someone can book your vacation with. And I’m going to explain the reasons. My family and I booked vacation right after Covid while doing Covid time with cheap Caribbean and myself I paid originally $3481.60. I paid insurance extra they have two conditions either you take 60% cashback or are you take 100% travel credit with the company. We were supposed to go for a 21st year anniversary on April 27 to May 1,2022 to Jamaica. My husband had a heart cardiac procedure prior so, Due to medical issues we could not go. I did not want to take the chance to travel so quick I called on April 20, 2022 to cancel. The trip got rescheduled again around the same time on April 27, 2023 to go again. But my husband became ill again with the cardiac issue. I won the same time this year 2023. So this thing is not coming to mine, having to travel when you dealing with the hospital dealing with medical issues to having to call or cancel, or let alone going up airplane. In June of this year when everything calm down in my family I called and they told me that to send the request for them to extend the credit. Send my boyfriend‘s number in an email name new dates and destinations to the customerservice with algvacations.com And no one has responded in June so in July 25 I called again spoke with a lady named Joanna, she advised me to do the same thing synonym email with the request of extension for Credit and send it to her personal email for the company with the company and also with a lgvacations.com customer service I did again second time no response August 14 called again spoke with Edgar. He told he advised me to do the same thing again send an email to reservation@ cheapcaribbean.com and send my name reservation number, desired location, with medical letter from the doctor to show why my husband couldn’t travel, for credit extension no response again. so yesterday September 27, 2023 I called again this time I spoke with three or four people they still giving me the running around, Murry told me she could not help me. She’s going to transfer me to a Post travel department for the credit and she’s going to explain everything that’s going on before the transfer to Cool so she did transfer the car when the person came on the line telling me that it’s out of her control. She does not see where they do a response I said ma’am why did you enter the car when Murry said she’s going to explain everything to you and now you are saying you cannot do anything about it, again the running around. So she transferred me to reservation to make reservation again and then they will use the credit from there. I know that’s going to be an other waists of breath again, but after I argue and being upset, I said OK . Now, Juan picked up the phone in pre-travel department. That is win. Juan basically told me you were not going to get the credits they cannot extend it for you because you called after May 23 keep in mind people the original date was supposed to be July August 2021 to travel to DR another tell me that my expiration date for 2023 was May I did not call prior to that to cancel. Want to request extension due to my husband‘s medical cardiac ordeal. Even with the medical letter which was requested they are still unable to extend the credit. Now I am really angry and pissed off. Why in the world for months all these colors all these employees been giving me the winning around that I could get the credit reinstated to travel for my wedding anniversary 21, 22,23 and as I’m trying to schedule it now for April 2024 and they told me no, this is over $3000 just like that when I steal from people. The last employee representative basically told me ma’am you will not get that credit or money or utilize anything with that money. When it’s time for them to take your money, they will take it and charge your card. However, when you need the service for anything else, whether you email called you would wait at least 1 to 2 hours in the line before you can speak with somebody. 2nd) they tell you to send emails they never respond never reply to your email that is disrespectful thieving people out there. who would NOT like to enjoy vacation time PAID with family. it’s like they are telling me your husband could not go, but you could go with your kids when my husband is sick celebrating anniversary without him and who would take care of him. I just don’t understand this company. These people and I need some thing done about this.
Planned and booked a vacation last November to Cancun for this October. Was notified by email this week that the resort we chose will be closed for renovations. No contact information on email, only choice was to reply and accept the new resort change.We have been to the newly assigned resort and it doesn't compare to the one we chose. Called customer service and was on the phone for over 2 hours while being transferred 3 times.They changed the reservation and were absolutely no help to us. We had 2 choices, accept the new resort (which was over $450 less per person) or get a refund credit. With the insurance we took out they would refund trip minus the cost of insurance. We tried to rebook at a resort of our choice, we gave them 3 options. They wanted over $1000 extra for a comparable resort. No help, customer service, or compassion.I used Cheap Carribean several times in the past, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.
This company sucks!!! The airline (Sun County) this company put us on caught fire so we missed a day to our vacation. Spent the next few days trying to extend our stay no luck, Cheap Caribbean pretty much told us oh well. No credit, no small refund, no nothing. Stay away from this company.
DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY!!!!I booked my trip, no details from the hotel, just the fly. I called to anticipate one day; I paid the difference. When we get to the airport, Cheapcaribbean did not submit the payment to Frontier. We couldn't fly. No refunds at all. I rebooked the fly with Frontier directly for next day. They mistakenly called Frontier and cancelled my fly AGAIN. I couldn't get a hold of them from the airport. It ruined my planned vacation and my kid's illusions. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
