Cheap carribean deals are very good

Cheap carribean deals are very good, we had a great time in riu republica, the workers on site are nice and friendly. The place is huge so it offers everyone something to do and to spread out. The water park is fun and thr food was good and so many choices. I've used cheap carribean many times and yhey never failed me. Even when the covid pandemic happened , they held your credit until I can book again after the pandemic.Thank you Cheapcarribean.com

Appalling experience, they cancelled our trip while we were on it!

Booked our trip and were already at the hotel checked in when we called to see if we could modify and go to the next level up of an iberostar resort when they hung up 3x so we thought it may be a connection issue. We then went to the website to modify and in the process got an email that our reservations were cancelled. We immediately called and the customer service rep was horrible and said we cancelled and "to bad so sad". They told us we had to pay out of pocket for flights home and try travel insurance to get a refund. We had already paid the over 5k in full months prior. After 4 hours on the phone and being told that reservations couldn't be cancelled after check in at the resort despite them doing so we got no where. We ultimately called our airline and explained the situation and they assured us they had been paid and saw that Cheap Caribbean had attempted to cancel and they stopped it. The onsite liaison still had our reservation but said that they wanted us to call them again. We did not as we spent hours on the phone with multiple disconnections with them getting nowhere. Our hotel never had an issue but Cheap Caribbean continued to send us emails that our trip was cancelled despite us being at the resort already. NEVER USE THEM, it was the most stressful and unprofessional experience ever. Appalling overall and luckily Delta airlines and Iberostar are wonderful as was the woman from Amstar at the resort. This company was great years ago but no longer and they are owned by Hyatt so beware.

Cheap Caribbean owned by apple travel and Hyatt is trash

I made all of my selections and then they need a litany of information for a travel purposes, which I fill in for the three travelers. Then I put in my credit card information then it says it’s processing my dream vacation for 20 minutes and the screen never changes. I called the customer service number and they said well that’s because the price changed. Are you kidding me? You can’t keep a price on lockdown long enough to let me put in the three traveler’s first, middle and last names, known traveler numbers and a credit card number? Trash. I will never use anything associated with cheap Caribbean or Apple leisure group or the Hyatt company nor will I ever stay at any Hyatt owned property ever again for any reason.

Don't go through them

Don't go through them. Go directly though the hotel and airline. You will have less changes for cancellations/changes and it's the same price or cheaper if you go through the hotel and airline directly. I had to change our flight and they charge a "brand penalty."

Will not change mistake they made

Second time using this site. First time had no problems. Second time, they spelled my last name wrong. I caught it within a month of my trip, plenty of time to change it, and within their guidelines of fixing a problem. Was first told to contact the airline directly as they could not fix names on international flights. Did that, and airline said the request had to be done by the travel agency. Went back to cheapcaribbean customer service and they said the issue would be resolved up to 7 days before my trip. It is now 6 days before my trip and customer service is still saying that I have to contact the airline, even though I was told last week it would be fixed. Such a scam! They have full payment and now I will not be traveling on my trip.

Literally pick any other company ….

Holy cow - where do I start. I have received extremely poor customer service on numerous occasions, many calls and many frustrating conversations. They are unclear on their own policies, inflexible and often un-kind. Really struggled to get any clear information on my booking, then when I unfortunately had to cancel due to a medical emergency; I was informed that the “insurance” I purchased was not “showing up in the system” so I lost $1200. Now - I have gone to re-book the trip with my credit and been informed of the many limitations of this credit. No one seems to really understand my questions or concerns - they constantly transfer you to different departments and do everything in their power to avoid escalating the call to a supervisor. So - even when none of your questions are answered (sometimes literal silence on the other end…) you can’t even speak to another person… it’s pretty bad. Spend your money elsewhere to avoid losing your mind ..

Horrible Experience w/ CheapCaribbean.comI would STRONGLY advise against booking with CheapCaribbean. This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional travel experience I’ve ever had.I booked a vacation package with them, and due to errors made by their own agents, my reservation was canceled THREE times without my consent. Each time, I had to call and rebook, spending over 6 hours on hold trying to fix their mistakes. They even booked my trip under a test account, which isn’t even meant for real travel! After all this chaos, I decided to cancel and book directly with the airline and hotel. That’s when they refused to give me a refund for the $3,029.03 I paid and instead tried to force me into a travel credit while deducting $900 in fees—fees for mistakes that were entirely their fault. To make things worse, they “lost” $854 of my money and couldn’t even account for where it went. Their customer service is a nightmare, full of empty promises, and no one seems to care about actually helping customers. This company is completely dishonest, disorganized, and untrustworthy. If you value your time and money, do yourself a favor and book directly with hotels and airlines. I’ve now disputed the charges with my bank, but this should have never happened in the first place.Avoid CheapCaribbean at all costs!

Although cheap caribbean wasn't at…

Although cheap caribbean wasn't at fault for my vacation going terribly bad. There customer support was excellent. But my stay at the Oasis Grand oasis was horrible. Before I share my experience i would like to say formally commend Mr. Raul Lescas for his exemplary service, characterized by exceptional professionalism, unwavering honesty, and a steadfast dedication to guest satisfaction. Mr. Lescas distinguished himself by proactively addressing a challenging situation with notable empathy and precision. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service not only resolved our concerns but also significantly enhanced our overall experience. His performance is a testament to the caliber of excellence that every guest should expect, and he undoubtedly stands as a model professional within the hospitality industry.Janet Anzures epitomizes managerial failure. During my stay at Oasis Pyramid in Cancun, her conduct as a manager was nothing short of appalling. In a situation that demanded prompt and empathetic attention, she remained glued to her phone, blatantly ignoring pressing guest concerns. Her dismissive and disengaged demeanor, coupled with a complete absence of basic professional courtesy, not only exacerbated our difficulties but also undermined the resort's potential. It is astonishing that someone in a leadership role could display such a flagrant disregard for customer service and hospitality—making her, without doubt, the worst manager I have ever encountered. We are currently staying here never felt so unwelcome

Lesson learned! DO NOT USE!!

Lesson learned and I should've known better than to book with them after reading their reviews. We were promised a $125 room credit for the cruise that we booked with them. Of course, you had to read the fine print in the confirmation to go back in and "redeem" that credit online, which I did. In fact, I redeemed it multiple times because I suspected that they were going to try to say that it wasn't "redeemed". Now, we are back from our cruise and never received that room credit. I've spoken with 3 different people, and they all give me a different excuse from blaming it on Royal Caribbean (telling me that we did redeem it) to telling me that we never redeemed it. The last person that I spoke with was going to give us a refund, but had to evacuate for a fire in the building. Maybe that's true??? If that's the case, I wish everyone safety from the fire, but it seems a little bit suspicious. I booked 2 cabins, so I'm out both of the promised and redeemed creditis.Do not use this company!!

Great experience getting a credit

We experienced a 2-day power outage at our hotel which we booked through Cheap Caribbean The hotel issued a 2-day credit but said it had to go thru Cheap Caribbean. I contacted CC upon my return home. I spoke to Rahul and he immediately began working on my case. He kept me informed throughout the process and although it took some time. I have received my refund We have used CC many times and will continue to use them for future trips.
