Ended up with a car that was not roadworthy. This company went above and beyond to reclaim my (mostly their) money back from the dealership. They were always polite, helpful and above all trustworthy. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again
Tried to renew my car insurance with them but they have my DD details wrong ( was with them last year) they have my name wrong on the payments and have only the wrong amount of payments. tried calling them 3 time but the call drops after 4 minutes. If I cant get the resolved I need to find another supplier and cant use my car. Unbelieve I had a "call" from the person I had contacted me who said I cannot pay via a link sent by close bothers but need to give my account details to her over the phone. Obviously didnt give her the details. Close Brothers enter the real world!Reply again is a waste of my time I have to go through the press 1,2,3 etc and give a reference number that dont have cant I speak to a real person??????? Or the real person can call me I'm sure its possible as someone called me and asked me to give debit card details over the phone?
Three months later after close brothers was paid my full outstanding premium for my car finance, they have still not updated their system and I today received notice stating if i don’t make payment my insurance will be cancelled. Their staff are so confused its unbelievable. Their complaint handler has made many false claims none of them with any truth behind them. The last being that the update has now took place and the new payment schedule has been sent to me. I didn’t get it. Then days later am threatened with cancellation. Absolutely shocking service. Financial ombudsman has now took this on and i am more than confident that I will be getting the outcome resolved in my favour as this company and everything it does is a complete shambles. If you have any sense keep away. I have spent days and weeks on the phone to them. Even put a complaint in an they said we are unable to withold your complaint then proceed to making error after error. Also was issued a default notice in error. It does seem like a regular pattern of them making errors. At the customer’s cost of course
