This company is a joke! Hung up 4 times and now close so they can make more money!

Rang up 4 times to settle me agreement, first 2 times both times hung up. 3rd time finally got through to someone, go through the all the questions they ask then hung up again! 4th a time got through to somebody all the questions again explain to them that I want to settle my agreement said his system is down and he’ll transfer me to someone else and he hangs up again! Now it’s closed I will have to make another payment tomorrow and more interest to pay! He did it so they can make more money, it’s a joke! I have a right to pay my finance at any point in the agreement, I want my payment I made refunded please and want to pay the original settlement figure. I would appreciate if someone contacted me ASAP on this matter! I also have the conversation recorded, so if I don’t get a refund I will be taking legal action! Companies like this charge you extra money if you miss or don’t pay but when it’s the other way around they don’t give you anything back!

Whatever happened to the personal touch

Accidentally cancelled DD thinking all payments were paid. 24 hours after due date a £25 charge! didn’t even have the decency to email me or send a message to either ask why or to even tell me the payment hasn’t gone through and give me the option to pay it online. Awful money grabbing company must have had their finger on the charge button 1 minute after midnight. Good luck to anyone using this company

After purchasing a van financed by…close brothers

After purchasing a van financed by close brothers in 2019, now in 2024 I've spent over 10k in repairs just to keep the vehicle on the road, I've made several formal complaints to close brothers regarding the issue as they own the van until paid for but unfortunately all complaints have fell on deaf ears and I've not had any help from them whats ever ! feeling let down after spending almost the original purchase price just on repairs . After reading the response from close brothers to get in touch regarding the matter, I did ! Only to be put on hold for 3 hours ! In the end I gave up ……

I've had car finance through close…

I've had car finance through close brothers for the first time as they were giving me the lowest interest rate and it's been good. The only thing that really needs improving is being able to make additional payments online instead of having to call up every time.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!

Was agreed finance over a week ago, I put down my deposit to secure my car and whilst i waited ONE WEEK for payout, they came to me the day of to ask to for payslips, i provided all in under 10mins- the incompetent bunch who work there thought my gross income was my net and withdrew the offer, stating i did not calculate my salary correct and that i earn more because I get a bonus (which does not count into salary) but clearly they don’t work for a real company and don’t know that. I provided my contract of employment without being asked too. Needless to say I am escalating to the financial ombudsman and they should be shut down for dodgy dealings.UPDATE: Your response shows your lack of accountability. You made an error and therefore need to acknowledge it not make pathetic excuses. You had my exact pay, affordability and credit info etc when accepting me- not only that your staff clearly kept miscalculating my annual salary though clearly evidenced on my payslip. So, the response is actually nonesense and furthers why I have escalated my complaint and will continue to until I receive satisfactory response acknowledge incompetence.
