Did not have a good experience

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with close brothers. I was sold a faulty car by a dealer. I raised this to close brothers within the 6 month time bracket and had all documentation to prove the car had to be recovered on several occasions.when I initially raised this I was told I 100% had a case and I was well within my right to challenge. They sent out a mechanic to check the car to which I was then passed to a new complaints advisor who stated as there was no fault light they deemed the car road worthy (the cars engine would cut off intermittently losing all power). When I stated a car can be faulty without a warning light showing they told me to basically just deal with it myself and the advisor said we were done and he’d be hanging up. I also raised this to their complaints department and got no where.Would definitely think twice about using them again

DO NOT take out any form of finance with this company !!!

WARNING, DO NOT take out any form of financing with Close Brothers.If you find yourself in financial difficulties for any reasons and are not able to pay them, they will NOT give you any chance to pay the money owed, they will just close your account, and after any adjustment they WILL NOT tell you whether there is any final money owed and will just send the final amount to debt collectors, to harass you !!Furthermore if you have finance for any kind of insurance then they will cancel your insurance policy and leave you uninsured.Again DO NOT deal with this company.

Bad enough that they have a high…

Bad enough that they have a high interest rate but to top it all off, they sell your data to other companies. Ever since I got a policy with them, I'm receiving cold calls at least 3 times a day

Got sold a broken car, Laura is excellent

Got sold a broken car, let the garage fix it only for the fault to come back but worse 2-3 weeks later. Filed a complaint excellent service and keep you in the loop almost daily couldnt fault them one single bit. Thank you Laura

They made it easy to own my own bike and the monthly cost was really affordable, if I decide to get another bike I will see them definately.

Very Bad experience

Very Bad experience, non professional people and extremely poor service. Applied online for a car finance, haven't received a confirmation email. When called to inquire about application, Customer Representative took all detail and told me that application is declined. It's fine but send me an email that it's declined. With out solving my query person on other side dropped the line which is totally not acceptable in such a business market in the UK.

The worst company ever to deal with.Was on the phone waiting for 2 hours and nobody pick-up the Phone. The complaints team they are the most lying people I come across with.Don't trust this company if I could give them a - 0 I would. The CEO of this company would be ashamed to have a company like this.

Close Brothers Finance .Sending out…

Close Brothers Finance .Sending out arrears letters for insurance policies that were not renewed. Despite conformation from the Insurance Company that I did not want to renew, a finance agreement was set up anyway !! If it states funding through Close Brothers walk away !

Following my previous review I got a reply from close brothers asking me to contact them on 03333218566 they will give me a prompt response what an absolute joke ! I have rang them 3 times first time answer after being on hold for 15 mins to be cut off ! Second time on hold 20 mins to be answered and told then couldn't hear me put the phone down on me ,now been on hold 33 mins to be cut off yet again ! This situation going from bad to worse ! How can it be resolved when you can't actually speak to anyone please can you answer this ? Hardly a quick resolution is it ? Like I said in my previous review joke of a company run by clowns avoid at all cost !finally got through to be told a manager wanted to speak with me and would ring me back within the hour ! Guess what ?? They didn't ring within the hour! Someone rang much later and I couldn't take the call then I was at an appointment. Today I've rang yet again first time after 10 mins on hold cut off yet again seems they like doing this to customers just to make you even more annoyed. Rang again spoke to someone and the manager will ring me back, feel like I'm just going round in circles. Won't hold My breath this time. Joke yet again
