It was a simple

It was a simple, easy to understand process from getting the finance through to paying off the balance early. The customer service representative I spoke to was polite, friendly and explained everything I needed. Whilst I expect all companies charge similar I thought the cost of the finance, probably because I settled early, was a lot. Having said that it did sort my cash flow for a year so no real complaints as it was all in the small print and very clear from the beginning.

Close Bros have been extremely good to…

Close Bros have been extremely good to do business with, I am delight that they agreed to finance a Range Rover, although I did not proceed to complete that purchase.Better yet they then agreed to finance the purchase of a most excellent 14 year old Jaguar for me. Easy to deal with, swift and efficient, I highly recommend Close Brothers as an outstanding company in the field of motorcar financing

My first Ferrari purchase at the age of 67 years !

At the age of 67 years I purchased my first Ferrari sports car with the help and assistance from Close Brothers Finance Company.By very good fortune I managed to pay off the loan in less than twelve months ! Throughout the loan experience I have been guided and well informed by professional and polite representatives from their company and would defiantly recommend this company to any other looking for a positive finance experience.

bad customer service

I was on hold with them for 25 minutes!!! waiting to get through to an agent, once I had managed to get through to someone, they answer the phone and immediately hang up on me! Absolutely atrocious service. CBPF sort your staff out.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, shocking service, big company that has no interest in fairness.If they want to challange me on this review they are welcome.No thanks for the "get in touch" response, I tried that and was shut down. Ill leave it with Trading Standards, The Financial Ombudsman that you told me to contact if I was not happy and my solicitor. Ill follow the legal proess and see where it takes me, but I doubt there is anything we can say to each other that will add value.

Unimpressed

One opportunity to make a first impression and it wasn’t positive. An insincere, unhelpful person in customer service who doesn’t give the right info is never an asset to any company. I’ll have to ring back again unfortunately because I need to understand the statement sent to my mother in law referring to thousands of £s for a policy which is £300. The interest rate charged to my mother in law is a whopping 12% but still shouldn’t reach the thousands. At least I now understand why “Premium Finance” is part of their company name! Long waits on the phone to get answers still. And that’s quoting the reference they gave me to help resolve the issue.

Use the Ombudsman! This company misells!

This company are terrible to deal with and have restrictions in place which are not in the terms and conditions. Make sure you use the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) as soon as you get their final response letter. It’s so easy to do and takes a couple of mins. As of 19th September,I have now logged my complaint with the FOS. My complaint is a miselling of a product along with hidden terms and conditions they impose but don’t put in writing. Part of my complaint was upheld about their staff being unprofessional within their complaints procedure but I’ve referred the mis selling to the FOS as if the complaint is upheld, they are likely to get a fine. The complaint relates to not being able to pay your account when your in a direct debit payment cycle. They simply prevent you from making any payment whatsoever. In the end, Alan Boswell who I used the insurance with calculated my figure, took payment and made it directly to them on my behalf. This company is very much a cowboy outfit. I thought the days of this had been and gone, clearly not!

I got my vehicle from them last…

I got my vehicle from them last weekend. I must say, they rendered quality service. They are kind too. They were willing for me to pay a deposit and gave me two weeks to pay in full. The car I bought -Kia Ceed- had no issue. It was a smooth one, a great price and a good get.Thank you.
