DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHAM COMPANY! They pretend to be based in London. THEY ARE NOT!!! If you need to return anything, you have to pay postage back to China. I ordered 2 dresses, costing me £130. One was broken (strap unstitched) on arrival, and both were cheaply made and terrible quality. I posted them back to China (at a cost of almost £30, which the customer has to cover!) on 21st May, and still have not received any refund.
Pressed one star to be able to write review. I also made mistake of not checking where order was coming from and checking reviews. Dress ordered arrived at least 4 sizes too big, not size i ordered. Absolute nightmare. They are crooks and scammers. Their behaviour is illegal attempting to give credit ( not refund) when the fault is theirs. After umpteen emails they have informed me they are refunding half my money when they actually eventually offered me 65% of money. thieves and liars. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM . How they get away with retailing in UK i. Just don’t know.
So this is the second review as Couture Moda wrote and said they were sorry about my experience but have still done nothing to resolve. The trousers in question i measured and they only measure 28/29 inch not the 34/36 they state. Next stop is credit card company as you do not buy size 34/36 trousers to get 29/30
Awful quality complete waste of of money says they are based in the UK yet dress took over 3 weeks to arrive and cost me over £50! The dress was worth about £3 if that terrible quality cost me over £20 to return to china and now the emails just bounce back so can’t even contact them. DO NOT BUY FROM SCAM thanks for your reply to my feedback however I cannot email you when all my emails are bouncing back so you’ve blocked me !
Like most of my fellow reviewers here, my experience with Couture Moda is negative. I ordered two items, £110, which took over seven weeks to arrive and when they did…..COMPLETE JUNK! Poorly made Chinese rubbish, not worth a £5! Company refused my return request and conveniently the delivery time made any disputed transaction not possible. DO NOT BUY FROM COUTURE MODA, shop elsewhere.
I have high concerns about this company. 1. The images and descriptions of the product does not match in any way shape or form the product they send 2. They advertise as a UK based company yet the items are sent from China3. At least 90% of their products are "sale" items 4. They list their company registration number as 77788986 and 124 City Road London however this 'NOT FOUND' on companies house. 5. Item ordered/paid on 30th April. Arrived 16th May after 2 emails chasing them but without replies. 6. Dress looks absolutely nothing like advertised, no label, in a crappy bag with 2 address labels from China. 7. Contacted Couture Moda for a return and refund as per UK Law but refused. Somehow the company thinks their own policies are above the law. 8. Company has been reported to trading standards and now seeking legal return of monies for misselling. I WOULD NOT Recommend PURCHASING ANYTHING from this online business.
Coutur Moda is a big Scam, the quality of their materials is poor. Two Item was added to my cart without me knowing, I only to notice this upon checkout when a certain amount was deducted I attempted to cancel the ones I didn’t pick, the company claims that cancellation is not possible, suggesting instead that returns can be made once the items are received. However, upon receiving the products, and wanted to return it a fee of £26 for items valued at £98 was charged, only to be informed that I will receive store credit amounting to just 50% of the purchase price, which can only be used for future orders which I am certain it’s the same low-quality materials. Please restrict from ordering anything from them. My £73.44 is stucked with this company. They are Scam Scam.
