Terrible experience with Drivalia.

Terrible experience with Drivalia.My email address was not saved properly in their system, so I was never informed about a parking ticket I received while using their service. Because of this, the fine escalated unnecessarily and I was only informed 3 months later via a recovery service letter.On top of that, Drivalia tried to deduct money from my account — without any explanation — for a so-called “processing fee” related to the ticket. This fee was supposed to cover notifying me, but I was never notified. Months later, that amount was further inflated by a different fishy recovery service, which harassed me by text message with a suspicious, non-functioning payment link. No letters, no proper communication: just confusion and stress.It took me weeks to understand what was going on. The whole process lacked transparency, felt extremely unfair, and seemed designed to trap customers with hidden charges and fine print.I do not recommend Drivalia.

I have never seen such a bad situation in my life as Edinburgh Drialia. You have to wait two hours in a crowded room to pick up a car. The employees are busy with something ,but not for customer service!

I booked a Fiat 500 but got a 9 seater minibus…

I booked a Fiat 500 as I was on my own and doing urban driving and Devon lanes. When I arrived at the Drivalia depot I was told I was getting a 9 seater minibus. I said I really didn't want it but was told in a very off hand way that it was either that or nothing or I could walk all the way back to the airport and take the shuttle bus to the Silver Zone and see if another company might be able to get me a car. I had appointments so just couldn't take the time and risk not getting another car (which I had fully paid for). I was also told that I would have to pay £1,500 on my credit card which would be refunded after a month or pay £35 which covered the same thing but not refundable. I opted for this as a month is a long time to have money outstanding. The man behind the counter was unprofessional - scruffy and not particularly helpful or polite - and the vehicle wasn't fully cleaned inside and I found someone else's hair ties on the floor. The fuel gauge was just over 3/4 full and I was warned not to bring it back with any less. On your own it's quite hard to judge as you can't see the tank gauge on the dashboard so I overfilled and am annoyed I gave them about £20 extra fuel. The Renault Traffic itself was quite nice to drive BUT absolutely huge. This affected my day because parking was so difficult. I was just so relieved to get it back to the depot. In itself this is just a scruffy yard and it all feels pretty down market. In the past I have used Europcar at the Silver zone and have never had a problem in a dozen hires. They are efficient, professional and I always get the vehicle I want or an equivalent size. My advice is to stick to the proper rental places in the Silver zone and avoid this one. Not happy at all.

Drivalia Liverpool

Drivalia Liverpool. I did my check in online to make sure everything was in place for a quick hire of the car. I was met by lovely Stuart at the reception desk who was super helpful to me to get the right waiver insurance with no fuss. I was given a lovely car and Stuart explained everything I needed to know before hand. I returned the car at the end of my rental and lovely Paul checked the car over he was super friendly and we had a nice chat. I frequently rent from Drivalia Liverpool and all the staff have always been lovely and helpful I wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend them.

I went to make a reservation through the app with 15% off ....

I went to make a reservation online and saw that there was an offer of 15% off if you download the app. When I downloaded the app and put in the offer code it said that it was not valid for the date of my reservation so I decided to use the chat facility on their website and was connected to Jay Patrel. He was super efficient and sorted out a great price. Really quick response and answered all my questions. Great service.

Holding security deposit 7 days +

The rental car was OK off airport location was slow due to delay in their collecting us. by shuttle transfer 7 days after handing car back "all fine" and their still holding £1500 security deposit ? why are they doing this . THIEVES UPDATE again checking bank and 9 days after return of car Drivalia are still holding on to deposit despite telling me they have authorised its release. Hire from these at your risk .2nd UPDATE says 72 hours to release and 10 business days for your bang to return now 15 business days and nothing THEY ARE THIEVES

Abs once again has done it, i used to rent in Green Motion and moved to Drivalia once he left Green Motion, always helpful and finding solutions to all the problems that i have had to endure with my multiple car rentals over the years that i have know him.Congrats Drivalia for the success in hiring him.
