I sent a package, computer, to the Philippines using Easyship in November 2024. Within 5 days the package was lost, and undeliverable. I had insurance on the package, but the insurance company made it so difficult to file, I never did. June 20, 2025, my package shows up at my house. I guess they found it. And they are charging me 12 dollars to return my package to me. Not a fan of this shipping company at all.
After shipping hundreds of items with Easyship with relatively few issues, my most recent experience affirmed the generally awful reviews here.Despite paying for premium insurance, and despite packaging my item (a poster) in standard packaging, including bubble wrap and other protective material, Easyship denied my claim, insisting that my item was "fragile" and required extra cushioning on all sides and a reinforced tube. This neither reflected the status of previous claims made with shippers for identical items, nor their own prior behavior.It would appear their current stance has gravitated to a United Healthcare "deny first" approach.This on top of offering substandard couriers and few international shipping options that can provide customs clearance.Have learned my lesson. Buh-bye folks.
exorbitant shipping fees (from Chicago to Ontario.) $80cad for an $80 item that is neither over-sized or heavy. also, depending which courier they offer (options - ludicrously expensive or outrageously expensive) the custom fees & taxes change - doesn't the gov't set custom/duty fees and tax rates??! I will never again order anything if easyship is used for delivery.
I booked a shipment using the Easyship-offered UPS option. After checking the status a couple of weeks later, the item was still sitting in the UPS warehouse. After contacting Easy Ship, I was told that the shipment value was over their limit. The value was correctly mentioned during the booking, so I was very surprised that they informed me about it after two weeks and not while making the booking. It took another two weeks to return the shipment to us. complete waste of time and money.
Easyship customer service is close to non-existent and good luck in getting any help when things go wrong. Support tickets opened for well over a week and despite being told they have been escalated and looked into, no action was ever taken and no timeframe for resolution.
I start using this bullshit company they charge me $260 per year and when i added the $250 Balance in middle of shipping my orders they ask for me verfication stuff and i lost over 16 order delay and i would recommend to use something else like Veeqo / Shipwork
Software is easy to use has plenty of issues that you will discover on the long term. Our current issue is that DHL shipments will never work in DDP mode. So end customers will always be charged for taxes whatever terms you select (DDU / DDP) . Please BE AWARE that if you have an issue, the dev team will never fix it.
