Terribe terrible terrible.You lose your full booking at full cost if you arrive more than 2 hrs late. Not much use if you are booking a car at a rail station or airport, where delays are beyond your control. This is in their terms and conditions, which are written in casual, slovely English by the way. I tried to query the charge by phoning customer services. This was a whole second negative experience. Called the UK line and, after a data protection notice in German, was put through to an agent in France who only spoke French. Luckily I am trilingual and she offered to transfer me to the UK office. I waited on hold for 15 mins, gave up and redialed. This time I was put through to a UK agent (albeit still after a German data protection notice and ending up with s staff member whose English was not easy to comprehend). This agent could not have been more dismisive and rude, despite the fact that the customer in question was a disabled 75 year oldThis is a disgusting business who appears to make its money by selling attractive car hire deals and profiting from its totally unfair terms and conditions, of which I suspect the vast majority of customers are unaware when they make their booking - until they hit a problem.
Payless Bucharest!! Be careful with this rogue rental company. Once you have booked online and you arrive on site, you still have to pay hundreds of euros in so-called taxes. You have no choice but to pay or you can walk back to the airport. Rental office is a few Km from the airport itself. When returning the car they try to get some money out of the pockets, and if that doesn't work they try to debit 6880LEI from your account without notifying you. Luckily I had my Visa card blocked as I had a very bad feeling about this company after picking up the vehicle. Unfortunately I didn't read all these negative reviews until after I got home. Is the first time in more than 40 years that I have come across such a rogue car rental company!!!!. If you have booked there, strong one!, make sure to take enough photos of the vehicle and inform your bank that this company is not allowed to credit anything from your account. It is best to purchase a new Visa card.
scammer company, I had to pay twice (380 Euro) as their reservation was not available at AVIS! shame!Actually it has to be 5 stones not 1 star!!!!!I reached the AVIS agency at Schiphol Airport with my voucher in the hand. I had to know that my reservation was not available. Easyterra was not reachable by phone (Sunday) and had not backup phone number. A typical old fashion German company running by fax. Avis asked me to book with them since they do not acknowledge the booking and have to charge me twice.I requested a refund over 15 days ago. Until today they did not reply. Calling their worst customer service is absolutely nonsense. They either hang up or are not available. Today, their polish customer service agent said to me very cool and unpleasant:" i will not hear even if you would explain to me your case for hours..." I am really speechless!
Up until this point I was a satisfied customer, recommending Easyterra to friends. Unfortunately they blew their reputation with me and so far the service is quite terrible.Due to COVID, my flight was cancelled 2 days before my pickup. So I reached out to Easyterra that same evening to cancel. Unfortunately it was 19.30 and they close at 19 (site told me I had to call because it was within 72 hours of pickup). The next morning at 9 I called them to cancel, but the told me it was too late, since it was now 34 hours before pickup. When I explained the situation, that I was indeed half an hour late and it was 47,5 hours by the time I wanted to cancel. They simply said, well the policy is 48 hours so 47,5 is too late. Because I thought this was a joke I sent an email to customer service, and they also replied with "47,5 hours prior to pickup is too late".They must have been hit hard by COVID to treat customers like this. I have booked cars with them for multiple years and even had one booked for Feb 21. They didnt even care..
HORRIBLE! Don’t book here! We thought we made a good deal to rent a very simple car for 6 days, but at the pick up we were told we have to pay 365 euro’s EXTRA! Because de price of 92 euros we payed online was just for a reservation and not for the car itself even though the reservation paper stated that the car would be 92 euros to rent. Terrible. This is called false advertisement!!
I made a booking but couldnt go due to Covid. I tried to cacncel the booking, but it had to be done 48 hours in advance, only then the office was closed, so it couldnt be done. The customer service agents didn't want to help me, so I now lost 119 euro, that cannot be transferred to another booking. I would advise to use this platform to find a goood deal, and then book directly with that firm.
