My husband booked an Emirates holiday for our babymoon and accidentally put his nickname on the booking and not the name in his passport (Jos instead of Jocelyn), we rang emirates at the check in desk to change it but they said it was too late as within two hours of the flight. I then boarded the flight by myself crying with our very large suitcase (28 weeks pregnant). He tried to buy a new seat on the same flight but they refused even though it was 8.15 and the flight took off at 10. So he went home and got the first flight the next day (bought a new flight). He is now with me on our holiday and spending half the time on hold or on the phone to emirates who are bouncing him between the airline and emirates holidays and refusing to change the name on the return booking because he was a no show for the outbound flight. He was not a no show he made a small mistake on the booking. This is totally unacceptable. Completely disgraceful from an airline that prides itself on being the best.
I booked a flight with them for February 4th, but unfortunately, it was delayed by more than five hours. I attempted to seek compensation for my inconvenience, but it seems the company is indifferent; nobody is responding to my inquiries. I'm surprised by their high charges despite having such poor customer service. I strongly advise against booking with them—opt for another airline instead. Christy was so helpful, kind and caring. Her customer service skills are amazing and she went out of her way to ensure I was looked after on 2 flights. I was feeling unwell and she made sure I was looked after. Luca and marrtia was also very helpful and friendly
my wife flew with emirates to sri lanka, she was so happy. the flight was on time and the cabin crew was so friendly and helpful ! Food was good and the seats were comfortable and spacious. She even got a small birthday cake ( was near her birthday ). We will definitly use their services again !
They're completely fake. I attended one of their open days, and while they claim the only requirement is being 21, it's obvious the recruiters secretly filter people based on age and weight. I made it almost to the end of the process and noticed they kept some people who were visibly insecure and stuttering. That is fairly normal given the situation. I was nervous too, but it showed far less. Some were wearing an outfit that was also not appropriate, but still made it through, while others had the perfect clothes and hair, were confident but not arrogant and got eliminated. Given everything I see, at a certain point I do wonder if they are just going to keep the prettiest people in the room, because I couldn't see any other logic in place. I didn’t expect to be chosen, but what bothers me is the effort and time you put in just to participate—only for them to provide no feedback at all.
Emirates as a company if providing visa service through DVPC, VFS global should have some form of communication with their online team. I am flying in 2 days and still haven’t got my visa, despite applying well in advance. Form of communication from DVPC is the worst they won’t reply to you. If you are a tourist looking to fly through Emirates and apply visa through DVPC. I would suggest not to do it as they have the worst customer service. Will ghost you for 5 days and come back with same automated reply. Will not help you what so ever. I’m suspecting a robot is operating their email as humans would never be this cruel. The amount of stress I have received is beyond what I can express and has given me mental distress. Emirates itself has lost a customer because of this as they do not help you when the helpline is called as well they will say we are not connected. I have to now pay $500 each $1000 to refund my ticket or change my ticket with a price that is just not acceptable. I also had hotels booked and activities planned in Dubai that has all gone to waste. Not to mention over $325 of visa fees that I had to pay to go to waste. I even asked to cancel my application so that I can apply through a different agent however they never responded to this. They do not care about anybody.
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a company sponsored through Emirates called (DVPC - VFS)to handle my Dubai visa application, and I am absolutely appalled by the level of service I received. We submitted our application about 2-3 weeks in advance, but their response time was excruciatingly slow. Communication was practically nonexistent-existent causing unnecessary stress and confusion.Despite our ongoing repeated attempts to reach out having to run out of time, the process only became more frustrating . We ended up having to change our flight due to the delays and lack of updates, resulting in extra costs and a lot of wasted time. What should have been a straightforward visa application turned into a complete nightmare, leaving us feeling disrespected and completely unsupported.I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to look elsewhere. The lack of professionalism and poor handling of the entire situation made an already stressful process far worse. Save yourself the headache and expense—avoid this company at all costs! Very very poor, never flying with them my entire life and advising all my friends/ family to do the same.
