Emirates as a company if providing visa…

Emirates as a company if providing visa service through DVPC, VFS global should have some form of communication with their online team. I am flying in 2 days and still haven’t got my visa, despite applying well in advance. Form of communication from DVPC is the worst they won’t reply to you. If you are a tourist looking to fly through Emirates and apply visa through DVPC. I would suggest not to do it as they have the worst customer service. Will ghost you for 5 days and come back with same automated reply. Will not help you what so ever. I’m suspecting a robot is operating their email as humans would never be this cruel. The amount of stress I have received is beyond what I can express and has given me mental distress. Emirates itself has lost a customer because of this as they do not help you when the helpline is called as well they will say we are not connected. I have to now pay $500 each $1000 to refund my ticket or change my ticket with a price that is just not acceptable. I also had hotels booked and activities planned in Dubai that has all gone to waste. Not to mention over $325 of visa fees that I had to pay to go to waste. I even asked to cancel my application so that I can apply through a different agent however they never responded to this. They do not care about anybody.

Disappointing Experience with Faulty Tray Tables and Indifferent Crew

I have always associated Emirates with a high standard of service, but my recent return flight left me frustrated and disappointed. The tray tables on our seats kept popping open every time the person in front adjusted their seat or whenever there was slight turbulence. This was not just a minor inconvenience—it made the flight uncomfortable and frustrating. We addressed the issue with two different air hostesses, who would temporarily close the tray tables, only for them to pop open again shortly after. After repeatedly experiencing this issue, we had no choice but to leave them open for most of the flight. What made matters worse was the crew’s attitude. While we understand that not every issue can be resolved instantly, the dismissive response we received was disappointing. After the second complaint, it became clear that they were not going to take the matter seriously or offer any real solution. This experience was in stark contrast to our outbound flight to Dubai, which was phenomenal. Emirates has a reputation for excellence, but this flight did not live up to that standard. It’s disappointing to see such a difference in service, especially on an airline that prides itself on quality and customer care. I hope Emirates takes these issues seriously and ensures a more consistent experience across all flights.

Don't bother paying and booking seats!

10 1/2 months before flying,I asked Emirates and Qatar if I could book a bassinet for my grandaughter.Qatar would not confirm we would definatley get one,Emirates on the other hand, said we would if the seat where the bassinets were used was available.Quickly I booked all the seats with the bassinet for all our 4 flights.Manchester -BKK and return. The Manchester segments out and in were fine. The Dubai BKK segments were NOT.Emirates changed our flight and seats on our outbound Dubai to BKK flights while we were in transit. We arrived at the gate and showed the boarding passes given to us in Manchester. We were told we had missed our flight, but were actually at the gate of the moved flight. After a very stressful 15 mins,we were told we could go through the boarding gate. Our seats had been moved! But worse was to come for the flight home BKK-Dubai.We got on the plane and our seats had been moved from the 3 with bassinet into the middle of the plane.I complained to the air steward, who said she would check.I was 5 rows behind the seats I had booked and there was no one in them, with a reserved sign on the seats. The stewardess then appeared in the other aisle and beckoned to a lady in a headscarf ,who was stood up waiting with 2 children and showed her to the seats I had booked!I called to the stewardess and asked why this had just happened.A male steward then came, apologised and told me my seat had been moved,he didn't know why and to complain when I got home.I made sure all the passengers around me knew how far in advance I had booked the bassinet and when my grandaughter was uncomfotable, crying, disturbing passengers,it was the airlines fault!I can't be bothered complaining,it will get nowhere.I wont be flying with Emirates again,as I'm not a local who gets preferencial treatment.

pls stop putting up photos of rich…

pls stop putting up photos of rich Kings in Saudi who had High life on backs of the poor , its very offensive because Mecca Saudi Arabia was built by poor people from 3rd world countries on slave pay or No pay, but the rich alcoholic ugly big nose Arabs are praised taking credit for it instead of the poor some whom lost their lives, Saudi Dubai was built Like Egypt pharoah brutality time, we don't want an ugly filthy big nose Arab man photo on or inside Mecca Saudi buildings which was built by poor oppressed disprivalidged people, there should be a memorial dedication to the poor people who built Saudi

Penalised for being slightly over weight

Flying with Emirates used to mean a safe comfortable flight with not great worries about extra charges but not any longer. I’m shocked how Emirates is now weighing hand luggage and just being 2-3kg over leads to penalising. Might as well book a budget airline instead in future. What a shame!

I traveled to Japan in April 2024

I traveled to Japan in April 2024. Due to the storm there were issues in the airport. The service was lacking, with no support from staff, total lack of acknowledgment, ...On top of that everyone's luggage got lost.Long story short. No refund for the flight, which I could understand since the weather was out of their control. The luggage however took almost 2 weeks to get back to me. I had to make purchases to compensate. Months later Emirates finally replied to say I just needed to send my receipts and I would get a refund for my purchases. I sent them the needed documents. Never got a reply or refund. I have sent multiple reminders and questions after that. Their last message was end of July, it is now end of January. I am being ignored with no refund whatsoever.Do not travel with Emirates.

I booked a flight from London Heathrow…

I booked a flight from London Heathrow airport to Manila for 29th Jan 2025 and to return to UK on 25th Feb 2025. Checked and Double Checked details online All Correct. Paid for the flight got conformation and e.tickets emailed to myself to download. When Downloaded it stated correct outbound ticket but return was March 25th, I contacted Emirites directly and spoke to a Pakistani Gentlement who would only give his name as mr patel surprise surprise, would not give his first name. I asked why when I booked I put Feb 25th return but got given the 25th march on the return ticket. He said if want to change he can do it for £100, I said I have only just booked less than half an hour ago. He said admin fees to change sir, I said ok cancel the flight give me a refund and I will rebook now again. Then he said ok I cancel but be a £200 cancellation fee, I said is this a scam or something he said cheaper to pay for change sir or you lose more money. I asked again for his name he said Mr Patel, refusing his first name again. So I said fine scammer change the month and i`ll pay the £100 then, the next minute he says put card details in safe app now. I did this then he said give me your expiry date by voice I gave details then he said yes that has gone through for £160 I said hold on you said £100 he said yes for change but the extra £60 for a seat on the new flight. I am reporting this scam by this Pakistani man how many more are being scammed like this where they change the month yet you know you put the correct month on the online web page site. Knowing people will call to complain and need to change the flight details and get charged extra money. How much are these scammers making per day?.

Disappointed by Emirates’ customer service

I flew on EK977 (24 Jan 2025) and experienced a strong fuel smell in the cabin. I reported it, but my concern was dismissed because no one else mentioned it—very unprofessional. My suitcase also arrived damaged, with broken locks and red wheel marks. I provided photos, but they called it “normal wear and tear.”After waiting over a month for a reply, I received a cold response saying the case was closed. I expected better care and respect from Emirates. Very disappointed.

Exploiting customers

I flew with Emirates to Dubai in Jan. Ahead of arriving at the airport I bought excess baggage. Due to a technical problem on their website, it was processed as excess baggage for the return trip. They told me this when I arrived at check-in, so I asked them to reassign it to the trip I actually bought for : this outgoing trip. They insisted that I couldn't and I would have to buy it again. So I had to purchase it again. This is appalling and this conduct tells me they want to exploit customers. My assistant raised a complaint because theyve breached UK Consumer Protection law, yet they still haven't resolved it.I'm so appalled by this money grab attempt so I've decided to avoid them as an airline.
