Once again the rates go up

Once again the rates go up. £140 rise this year. You are a disgrace. Greed is an illness

Abused by bully on phone

Rang this shower of a company yesterday 5/03/25 and had a bad experience with two people on customer service. They were rude and insulting accusing me of shouting, I was in extreme distress trying to contact them over the last three days by phone only to be be told by automated message there would be a 55mins wait until they answered the phone. Every time I rang them over a 3 day period I kept getting this message. I told them I am on priority list because of mental health and I was not shouting, but distressed of trying to get them to answer the phone over a three day period. They had no concern for my mental health even though they are aware of it and just offered an insincere apology for talking to me rudely, I wouldn't accept their apology and told them they were insincere and should treat people better on the phone instead of acting like bullies an d being abusive to me. They didn't like that at all and accused me of being racist because I asked to speak to a black person as they know how to treat people with mental health, I then informed him how can I be racist when I am white and so was he. He put the phone down on me and I ended up with the mental health crisis team coming to see me over the way I was treated by this person, They told me I was very distress and if they didn't realise this they need mental health training.

review:Price increasing

review:I am extremely disappointed with Suffolk Water. Over the past few years, my water bills have nearly doubled—from around £340 to £642 in just three to four years. Meanwhile, my income hasn’t seen any increase, and yet I have no choice but to continue paying their inflated prices. It’s a terrible situation when you’re forced to accept rising costs year after year without any alternatives or competition. It feels like we are being taken advantage of, with no regard for the impact on our finances. Absolutely awful service and pricing—I’d give them zero stars if I could.

Had To Give It 1 Star

Had to give Essex & Suffolk Water Company 1 star, otherwise they won't publish this, but I give them a "ZERO" star. What a RUBBISH company, a total disgrace.I am truly in awe of the sheer audacity it takes to jack up my water bill from £68.87 ( that was bad enough ) to £85.70 a month, i am a single person; a £16.83 increase for absolutely nothing extra. No magical new water source, just the same old crap water flowing out of my taps now at a premium price. How utterly generous of them. The price before was just ridiculous. It’s almost impressive how they can take a basic human necessity and turn it into yet another financial burden. The extra I will be paying looks like the same old bullshit. As shareholders and directors will be profiting while ordinary customers are being fleeced for more money. What a BAD company Essex & Suffolk water really are.Just wonder if i will get a response at all, if so it will be a carefully worded "nonsense" of a response.Britain is one CRAP country to live in.

Shambles of a smart meter installation

Shambles of a smart meter installation. Installed but not connected to the data network. Ability to input a reading manually taken also away from the website and app. Very slow response from customer service and WhatsApp response time is painfully slow (takes weeks). I now have less data available than I did before. Great job Essex & Suffolk Water - progress !!
