AWFUL AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE These morons added numerous additional charges and charged my card without confirming or providing any evidence.They claimed I drove into Europe or the Republic of Ireland, something I absolutely did not do. They refuse to listen to me and instead ignore those parts of the emails.SAMUEL at customer service is an absolute idiot who uses AI to respond to emails. He can't even respond properly and doesn't acknowledge half of what you say.DO NOT BOOK WITH EUROPCAR! They will charge you for things you did not do, they won't provide any evidence for it, and they have TERRIBLE customer service. The company should be ashamed. I obviously will never book with Europcar again, and nobody else should either. Ignore this clown company.
i have waited on a car getting returned between 1 and 3 o’clock nearly hour nhslf after stated time still waiting 4 calls to there office and not any further forward absolutely rubbish customer experience no help whatsoever sitting in all day cancelled a appointment as waiting on them uplifting car not a great way to treat your customers Europcar
Booked a car only to be refused when I arrived because apparently my address couldnt be verified by their system!! I've lived here for 25 years!They tried to get me to put my wife on the agreement at the cost of an extra £100. They knew I needed a car and that I'd made the journey there, so hoped I'd just do it. Such a transparent tactic to make money. I used Enterprise.I know they are more expensive, but save yourself the pain and avoid these clowns.
Customer service was poor. The costs that I was quoted were not the costs that I ended up paying - airport tax and VAT was added (not provided at the time of the quote). I was upgraded to an electric car as was sold as being more affordable and was assured that the mileage remaining would take me to my destination - it did not and had to spend 2 hours recharging and would not be reimbursed when made a complaint. I would never use this company again!!
Firstly the positive - my price for a week's rental from Toulouse airport was reduced from £360 to £241 when I phoned to ask to change the principal driver and to add a second driver. Does make you think they've no idea what they're doing though.On returning the car, the guy insisted over and over that there was a dent in the side and asked me to sign that I agreed to that. My partner and I could honestly see nothing at all. The guy is asking - did you examine the car and take photos when you first hired it? But any human eye or any photograph would not have captured this invisible thing he was talking about. We went into the actual office and spoke to somebody there. She went out to the car and came back about one minute later saying - all fine, no dents, good to go. That guy is clearly on "dent commission" and should be sacked. I am never using Europcar again.
Hire car through RAC car has issues tyre valves are faulty and they don't care no response from customer service byd car given with no charge in car no dust caps which has caused issue with valves . europcar customer service is a joke no help from them
Don't bother booking with the Norwich Airport branch. I booked a car online paid for it and waited for it to arrive. When it didn't I rang the branch but you just cannot get hold of anyone. The phone just rings and rings! When a person did eventually answer she told me that the booking had been cancelled and that they had rung to tell me but I hadn't had any missed calls or had any messages left so she was lying however she tried to tell me that it was me that was lying! Are you freaking kidding me?? She was so unprofessional on the phone her tone of voice and the way she spoke to me was bang out of order she had a real bad attitude which was not called for! Before I could insist that noone had rung me she told me that I would receive a refund in about 2 weeks and then hung up on me. I tried ringing back but unsurprisingly noone answered! This business is a joke and I won't use them again. They have caused me so much stress in dealing with this. Never again! Wish I had read the reviews on here and TripAdvisor before going ahead and giving them my money!
Wish their was a minus rating and consequences for europ car Horrible company horrible service In the space of 7 days over 40 calls to Bradford Leeds branch no answer they put u on hold once connected and phone dies no immediate response no help if an emergency nothing Gave me a wrong car and I suffered due to it due to it being small and me not be able to breath right due to health felt really costrophobic and edgy and told europcar but still no response for 4 days Never would refer europcar and never using again
