Review Time
It's a real shame that I have to give even the one star but I suppose this can be the fact that delivery was on time.Right so not one to complain or cause a fuss, probably too laid back according to my wife.I ordered a dishwasher from argos and it was due to be delivered by Expert Logistics on a particular day. That day came and the 2 guys arrived in good time and they seemed pleasant enough. I paid for delivery, removal of old appliance and fitting of new.I could have done it myself but was limited on time due to other work. The guys came and removed my old appliance, no problem. When new appliance came in it was fairly quick and all that needed to be done was connection of water pipes (screw on), connect electricity and attach intergrated door.To me that should be a 10 minute job.1 hour later they are still trying to get door attached and also one of the engineers was pulling at my worktop and bouncing it up and down saying "who fitted this as its all chipped there" When asked what are you doing and then seeing the edging strip chipped away I explained that the damage was caused by them. They didn't deny it and I found the chipped part on the floor. With that they finished and left. I tried out dishwasher and it started but kept stopping so I read manual and it gave me 2 options electric or water inlet pipe. Electricity was fine but unfortunately I had to pull dishwasher out and investigate. They had not put the bracket on to stop pipe kinking. I fitted bracket and it worked. Great. That night and next day I noticed water on floor and assumed it was from sink splashes.Once I cleaned up I noticed it returned. On investigation I then had to look under sink and discovered that the water inlet pipe (again) was not tight at all and water was trickling down the back of pipe and onto the floor. Again not a problem as floor which was laminate had been fitted and sealed properly. However due to it constantly leaking it had made its way under laminate. Since then my laminate which at the time was less than 11 months old (new kitchen and extention) was beginning to lift in parts.Today nearly 4 months on it as you can imagine looks awful and is completely ruined. I have brought this up and made my 1st ever claim of this type in my life and it has been flatly refused. 1st time they said worktop damage due to water ingress. I agree but it only happened due to damage caused by the engineer. 2nd time they have told me there is no conclusion evidence and engineers took pictures of completed works. All of this has made me feel annoyed, and sick to my stomach as they have not once come to my house when I have offered them too. So I paid an additional £100 and had to pretty much do their job in the end costing me time, money and now by the looks of it a lot more money. I didn't think I would have to go and check after all they are Experts according to their name. Just to clarify also water inlet pipes and dishwasher are in 2 separate compartments so I never had to go there when I fitted bracket. So from.this experience I would say stay away or be extremely cautious if you let these what seem to be cowboys in your house.Harsh as I hate to say that but unfortunately in this case, very true.
1 star is too much. I have never encountered such poor service from any company in my life. Our oven has been on order for nearly 3 months and we’ve had 3 failed delivery’s all occurring on the day. The first time they called first thing and said they’d damaged the item so rescheduled for almost 2 weeks later. The second time they waited until 4pm to call and realise they didn’t have an electrician to complete the installation and rescheduled for almost 2 weeks later. The third time they waited until 7pm to say the delivery driver had driven too many hours so had to cancel and again offered a time slot 2 weeks later. To have taken 2 days off work and sacrificed a whole weekend that we could have gone away it is disgusting.
I ordered a Hisense American fridge freezer on 2nd January 2022 with a delivery date of 8th January. It duly arrived on the stated date and I was advised to leave it standing for at least 4 hours before switching it on and then a further hour before putting food in it. I abided by these conditions. The next morning I came downstairs to find the inside of the appliance had not frozen or chilled. I phoned Boots Kitchen (operated by AO) and was put on a conference call with themselves and Hisense. Hisense offered to send out an engineer in 9 days to have a look at it. I couldn't wait that long as I had been without a fridge freezer since the beginning of January, when my old one had broken down. Boots said they would have a replacement sent out on 15th January and the faulty appliance uplifted on that date. The replacement appliance turned up on the stated date, delivered by an elderly man and a young girl from EXPERT LOGISTICS. Now, I hope this does not sound ageist or sexist but I really don't think they would be capable of lifting a large, bulky American fridge freezer. Anyway, the male driver came into the kitchen, looked at the faulty fridge freezer which they had to take away and said they did not have the necessary tools to remove the appliance from my house. The two drivers who had delivered it the previous week had no problem! So, the result was...they drove off leaving me with the faulty appliance and with my replacement fridge freezer in their van.I once again phoned Boots kitchen/AO. They said they could arrange a third delivery on 20th January. I told them I needed a fridge freezer before then. They couldn't give me an earlier date, so I cancelled the order. I ordered the same appliance from Currys which was delivered on 18th January.EXPERT LOGISTICS were to uplift the faulty appliance on 20th January. I received a phone call from them in the afternoon of that date to inform me that the appliance could not be uplifted as the rear doors on the back of the delivery van had jammed shut. They scheduled another uplift date on 21st January. They did not turn up. To make matters even more astonishing, their tracking system showed that the appliance had been uplifted the day before!!I phoned Boots Kitchen/AO and one of their managers (Dan) phoned me back on Saturday 22nd January. He assured me that he had arranged with EXPERT LOGISTICS to uplift the appliance on Tuesday 25th January between 7am and 12 noon. Guess what? Once again it was a no show.So to summarise AO delivered me a faulty American Fridge Freezer on Saturday 8th January. To date, 4 uplift dates have been arranged with EXPERT LOGISTICS to uplift the appliance from my house – 15th, 20th, 21st and 25th January. I have taken 3 annual leave days, so far, to accommodate this uplift and the further inconvenience is that I now have two American Fridge Freezers in my kitchen!
Crew code STP71 Alban and Memet arrived within the time slot given to us. Were friendly and efficient. Disconnected and capped off the gas that went to my old cooker, installed the new cooker, took away my old cooker for recycling and all the packaging from my new cooker. Couldn’t have asked for more 😁
I had a washer dryer replaced by a plan I had with domestic and general as my old machine I had for was beyond repair. The replacement/installation was arranged through AO and delivery by expert logistics. Firstly they didn’t have the installation on their records only delivery despite me paying extra for this. A call was made to the office who confirmed it was ok to install. After using the machine water started to seep through the my kitchen end panel I contacted AO who sent someone to check the installation the following day. The machine had been pushed too far back breaking the waste pipe, no problem he said AO are very good with customer care and putting things right, how wrong he was! I received a call from the office shortly after his visit advising me to get the damage sorted and I would be reimbursed. I sent in the bill for the new waste and replacement end panel to my kitchen. This was declined the reason they gave was this had been a pre existing leak! This was absolutely not the case in all the years my previous washer had been installed I had never had a leak. I appealed the decision without success again. It’s beyond me why on earth I would have a new machine installed to a pre existing problem and more importantly why the installer would even install the machine if this was the case.Avoid AO and expert logistics at all costs absolute cowboys and zero customer service.
Had my delivery since the 22/12/21 I was told delivery would be 25/12/21 then 27/12/21 then 30/12/21 then 07/01/22 now 10/01/22. When talking to them today they said they phoned me to say a driver hurt them self and was unable to deliver it. But he will get it to me by the 10th. I’ve lost 5 day work sitting at home waiting for them to come and they want me to lose another day for them probably never to turn up any way. Stay well clear of this company not worth the hassle or stress
What’s the point in getting in touch all reply’s are nearly the same on here and there is nothing you would do but get an advisor to call and talk to me. I’m unsure if I would use this company again. I have always had a pleasant experience in the past with the company I’ve had a few things delivered in the past.
Stayed in all day today for them to collect a dishwasher that was not fit for purpose with two failures in two weeks. Tracked the crew all day as we moved later and later in the ETA slot. At 1730, when they were a mile away and we were next, they got further and further away and after 15 mins were obviously back at the depot. Tracker now reports "We were unable to successfully collect order"That's because you didn't turn up!In these days of tracking deliveries you have to do better than this. A whole Sunday wasted sat at home with loads I could be doing two weeks before Christmas!
Having re-arranged plans due to the failure to deliver, detailed in my last post, I ensured I was up early for a 7-12 delivery slot today (Saturday). At 08.17am Expert Logistics called to say that they will not be delivering today as they have lost the washing machine. Expert Logistics advised that they have opened an inquiry, but no timeframe has been given for both the investigation and when we can expect to receive a washing machine. It seems to be abundantly obvious that there is nothing ‘expert’ about this operation.
