Disappointing to say the leastI made an order from this website on December 12th, with plenty of time for a late Christmas on the 27th. I received multiple updates along the way that there were delays. Finally on the 20th, I called due to my concern the item would not arrive in time. The service member informed me the item was at a 3rd party customizing shop and I asked for expedited shipping which they politely obliged. Unfortunately, I subsequently received an email on the 24th that not only would the item not be delivered, but they were refunding the entire amount because they were sold out. It took them 12 days just to discover they didn't have the item!! When I called back they informed me there was nothing they could do.How you don't have an inventory management system and website that knows whether or not an item is sold out in 2019 is beyond me. Not to mention taking 12 days to figure it out!
Update: A couple of hours after I wrote this review (see below), I received an E-mail from Fans Edge stating that they are refunding $65 to my account as they did not get my order to me in time. Very much appreciated and evidence that they are listening!!Original post: I have always liked the products from this company - somewhat pricey but usually of good quality. My order was shipped the 16th and, like so many others, I did not receive it by the 24th as promised. I called customer service on the 23rd and the woman was polite, friendly and professional. She said that the package was not considered late unless it was not delivered on the 24th, which it was not. I finally received the package this morning, the 26th. I used a coupon for "free shipping" so cannot get a refund for my inconvenience. In this day and age, I don't see how something can take almost 10 days to get from Nevada to Des Moines by UPS, even if it is by ground. From all of the other posts, it is obvious that this company has a huge customer service problem. With the cost of their products, it feels like a rip-off.
Will never order from this company again! Ordered an item for my brother for Christmas on 12/17/19 with guaranteed delivery by Christmas. On 12/24, I called because FedEx tracking was not showing delivery until the 26th. They told me it may still arrive by that day. Well to no surprise, it did not. Well today is Christmas and the gift I got my brother is not there. I had to call and apologize to him for his gift not arriving on time. By the way, Fans Edge told me they will not refund my money unless I return the item. So much for a guarantee. Asked them what my future business and business of others via my word of mouth was worth to them and essentially it is nothing. Will take my business elsewhere in the future. Regret ever using them. I buy a ton of stuff from Amazon and Costco all the time online and rarely ever have an issue. And if there is an issue, they always make it right. Hell, Amazon even reached out to me on an item multiple times because it was delayed in shipping and verified I still wanted to have the item sent. That is what good customer service looks like. Fans Edge should take that as a lesson. Seems many others on here also have had similar issues. Terrible company!
Worse company to order from. Have been checking on package since December10th only to find out today December 24 that package was returned to company for no address on package. Very poor customer service, everytime I called I received a different answer from each rep I talked to, would never from them again
I ordered a gift on the 17th of Dec with a Dec 23 delivery via FedEx. Since I've never used FansEdge before I checked my tracking daily and to my amazement FedEx apparently gave my package to USPS and my delivery will be on or after Christmas. I want a refund and no one should ever ordee from this company!
Ordered one item from fansedge on November 30. It was guaranteed to be to me before Christmas. It did not. It said it would be shipped FEDEX but was sent via USPS. December 22 ihadreceoved no package. I looked up the tracking and it said they tried to deliver but no one was there. I went to the USPS and they didn’t know anything about it. Fansedge says I have to find the package and refuse delivery or return it or they will not refund my money. Crappy way to do do business. Update: I did finally get my package on December 24th after running all over town looking for it. It was at the post office and was not scheduled for delivery at all. I did not get it in time to give it as a gift either. I don’t know what it takes to return it but it is no longer worth the hassle. I should have read the reviews about fansedge before I ordered. A lot of people have had similar delivery issues.
AVOID this company!! I ordered a jersey on 11/29/19 and I have still not received it. No where did it say this would not arrive before Christmas nor was it stated that it would ship from overseas. I've done numerous chats with them and they keep giving me a fake tracking number. No where can i see that it is being shipped. I have sat on an online chat waiting for someone to help me today for 5 hours and I keep getting the same response, so sorry lines are busy. Called the number on my credit card statement.....literally is someones cell phone that is not answering. Called a number on this site, another posters review, and they told me that the order number I was given is not how they issue there order numbers. So apparently I got scammed just like many other people. Such complete bull! I will never order from this company again. Stay away and save your money.
I placed two orders with FansEdge for Christmas gifts. On the first order, I received multiple emails saying there was a new ship date, but none of the emails said what the new ship date was. The email said I could wait for the product or I could cancel the order.Upon visiting the FansEdge website and entering the order number, the website said it could not locate the order. I contacted an agent at FansEdge and they said the order was with a third party vendor and they had no idea when it would ship. I asked if they could contact the vendor to find out when the order would ship and they refused. They said they would let me know when it shipped. That's a lot of help!I recently checked the status of the second order and found that it will not ship until two weeks from now. I attempted to contact a FansEdge representative. Their phone system asks you to select from different options so they can "route you to the representative who can best answer your question." But when you specify the nature of the call, you get a robo agent, no real live agent. Finally, after several rounds of talking with the robo attendant, I got through to a real live agent.The agent said they would SUBMIT A TICKET to attempt to cancel the first order and said I should contact them if I don't hear from them within four business days. They said that was "taken care of" and asked if I needed anything else. I asked if they had canceled the order and was told that No, they had only submitted a ticket to do that and we would find out if it were canceled within four business days. WHAT???I asked to cancel the second order. They said the second order, which is scheduled to ship 14 days from now cannot be canceled. I asked to speak to a supervisor who absolutely refused. She was very rude and condescending. I told her I would contest the credit card charge. She said the call was being recorded and they would submit the recording to my credit card company. I told her I hoped she enjoyed reading the negative reviews for crappy customer service.My advice is to buy elsewhere, because the product will not arrive in any timely manner and the customer service is the worst.
I've spent close to $1000 over the past 2 years with this company, mostly around the holiday season. With family and friends that are sports fans, it's always been an easy place to shop and the discounts are sometimes enticing.Last year I ordered 2 custom jerseys from them, and one of them came in with the "A" for Alternate Caption on the jersey. Upon contacting them, they said due to it being a custom jersey there was nothing they could do. This was for a player that was and still is with the team, they just didn't have that player's size in stock so I had to go the custom route. I was rather disappointed with their lack of help, but shrugged it off because otherwise the jersey looked great and their hockey jerseys especially are nice, durable, breathable, and I like that the logos don't crease when you fold them.Enter Christmas 2019, and I order about $500 worth of items for presents. One of them is a hooded sweatshirt on sale for $40. Upon receiving the item I ordered, I realized that they sent the wrong size. I called in to get a replacement sent out, and they told me they don't have any more in stock and don't know if they ever will so all they could do is offer me a free return label. Needless to say I was unhappy but the girl on the phone didn't sound like she had the attitude of someone who would attempt to help further reconcile the mistake, so I hung up and chatted in.The guy who chatted in tried to help after I complained and laid out all of the money I've spent with them (I provided order #s so they knew I wasn't blowing any smoke), and the guy on chat went to talk to his supervisor. They offer to provide me with free expedited shipping on a replacement item. I thought that was a pretty cheap offer considering they should be doing that anyway to reconcile a messed up Christmas gift they dropped the ball on, so I refused. The guy went back to his supervisor, and said he would expedite the shipping, refund the shipping on the other order, and give me a 20% discount on another hoodie I was considering. Well, that hoodie over course is no longer on the discounted sale that I purchased the first hoodie with, so I would have ended up paying $20 more out of pocket plus have to wait up to 10 business days to get my money back on the order they messed up. I explained to them that to make it right they should price match the hoodie to the one I ordered from them originally, but they refused. So I am just going to return the item and never do business with them again.It's unfortunate it's come to this because they do have nice products and the FansEdge company seems to have monopolized much of the apparel sales from all of the major sports leagues here. MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL official shops are all under Fanatics, which is the company that also owns FansEdge. Either way though, I'd rather spend twice as much with a company that will appreciate loyal customers. This company isn't it. My only wish is that it weren't so close to Christmas time; otherwise I'd be returning everything I bought this holiday season and taking my business elsewhere.
Returning items here is a scam. You don't get refunded for what you bought. You have to pay a shipping fee of 9.99 apparently. I have never seen this from any other company and am really disappointed. I don't want to buy from here again if I can't get my money back if something doesn't work out.
