Wondershare Filmora is a SCAM. I tried it's AI vedio generation, but the result was very poor. I canceled the service at the same day to get the refund within the trail period. However, it failed to get the refund, even though sending them email and writing support ticket to them.
Do not subscribe for this app or software, there are many red flags I should have taken note of, like the fact there is no monthly subscription but instead everything was billed yearly, the fact that they don't have a customer service and no email to even contact and talk to them directly, just robot and noreply automated emails. Another red flag is their big watermark for unpaid version, you just know they are very selfish and dont want you to use them for free like other better app with smaller watermark. so now I am stuck with a useless good for nothing app for a year and I cant get my money back because they wont refund me. After subscribing for this software, you still have to subscribe to use any meaningful features like a youtube subscribe sticker, and captioning your video you also need to pay again to even use that feature, making it like 3 different yearly billed subscription to have a meaningful usage. This is a Sc@m software, I definitely don't recommend for anyone, and I am pissed. Also trust pilot issued a warning they are paying people to write good reviews for them, take this review as a good first hand experience and save yourself the stress and waste of money and space.
They are a scam. You can never get refund from these guys even after you provide enough screen shots and example via emails on their tool malfunction . Their watermark tool did not work the way it is supposed to do and as per their policy they have to provide refund , but instead of doing it they waste your time in back and forth emails and finally to avoid giving refund the explanation they provided was the tool had limitations which was absurd. It was a simple watermark remover.They do not have any confidence in their own products Stay away from them . They are spammers. I did not even use the product for a week
Cancelled my annual subscription but still got charged. As I didn’t receive a confirmation email I have no proof and despite immediately asking for a refund (the next day) I have been told I’m not getting one. A company that doesn’t care that its customers are not happy is not a good company.
I initially chose this as an alternative to Adobe Premiere because it was simpler and more affordable. At the beginning, I genuinely liked it for its ease of use and straightforward workflow.However, when I decided to unsubscribe, the experience became frustrating. The cancellation process was unnecessarily complicated and appeared to rely on dark patterns that made unsubscribing difficult.The service also stated that I could continue using it until the end of the trial period, but when I tried to do so, I was informed that my version was no longer compatible. When I attempted to download the newer version, Chrome flagged it as an unsafe application, which raised serious concerns.What started as a promising and user-friendly alternative ultimately turned into a disappointing experience. I’ll be looking for another solution.
If I could pick - stars I would! This app is a scam and lies about the free trial subscription! I cancelled it within 3 minutes of it being downloaded because it charged me $49.99 and I requested my money back. It denied my requested and I am still in the 7 day money back guarantee time frame??? Trying to get ahold of anyone is void! When I go the the app developer it’s all in another language. So how am I supposed to get my money back? Someone please help me?!
I am a July 2020 Founder Member and I am being denied my promised "Lifetime/Perpetual" rights. My Filmora 15 dashboard explicitly shows "Unlimited" expiration for my services, yet the software is currently blocking my exports with a paywall. This is a database entitlement error. I am being ignored by the "Olivia" bot and my attempts to seek help on social media are being deleted. I require a manual override from a Billing Supervisor to restore my account. Please note that a formal review of this case has been initiated on Trustpilot as of last night to document this failure to honor original contract terms.1. The Legal Entity of my Account: In July 2020, I purchased a Founder Member license. Under the Consumer Rights Act, digital products must be "as described" at the point of sale. My contract includes "Lifetime" entitlements and specific Founder privileges that differentiate it from a standard perpetual license. By stripping these privileges from my account in your database, Wondershare is in Breach of Contract.2. Unilateral Contract Alteration: Confirming that I have a "perpetual license" while ignoring the "Founder" tier is a deceptive practice. You have unilaterally altered the terms of my 2020 agreement. Under consumer protection laws, you cannot retroactively downgrade a "Lifetime" or "Founder" status once the consideration (payment) has been made.3. Immediate Action Required: I am not a "standard" user with a "troubleshooting" issue. She claimed my rights are 'not limited,' but this is FALSE. Every single AI feature—including Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech which I previously used—is now locked behind a paywall. They are holding my Founder features hostage for monthly credits. ===================================UPDATE:Wondershare has now replied publicly. However, the response does not address the core issue raised in my review — namely the post-purchase restriction and monetisation of assets and features that were marketed as included with a Lifetime licence.The reply does not clarify which assets are included for Lifetime users, how AI credit gating aligns with earlier representations, or how “lifetime” is now defined in practical terms. As such, the underlying concern remains unresolved. This matter has now reached deadlock. In the absence of a substantive resolution or clarification, the issue is being prepared for submission to the relevant UK consumer regulators (CMA / DMCC) for independent review.
