Review Time
The Foxtel streaming service is the biggest piece of technology JUNK ever created. I cannot switch the TV on with out an error message and having to reboot the TV…it is never easy and straight forward. I cannot sit and watch a show without and error message or having to reboot the TV 1000 times. Their technical support is dreadful just like their streaming service.
20 years and I decided that with all the streaming services around I don't need Foxtel anymore. I was offered all types of deals to stay with them and even reduced my package to $35 a month with 6 free movies and I could gift this package if I didn't want it, but in seems no one in my family wanted it either for the same reason. I notified them before my renewal period and several times over the phone ( they must have these recordings) that I don't want to renewal in August and even returned the box and yet they still charged me another month at $42.00 on the 16th August. they go all out not to get you to cancel.Now I'm disgusted with Foxtel customer service and support and is this how you treat a platinum customer is so disappointing. Now I'm telling everyone I know they don't need it as Binge is cheaper if they don't want the sports part of the foxtel package
I was hospitalised for emergency surgery and had full intentions of cancelling during the trial period but ended up unable to do so in hospital for 5 days. I reached out to foxtel and explained the situation and they refused to do anything about it and refund me. The movie selection is very poor for the price you pay and it's disappointing that they wouldn't consider my circumstances. There are much better streaming services out there that are a quarter of the price and that are much more understanding and flexible with refunds and billing. I won't ever sign up for Foxtel again and will be sure to warn others not to also.
Foxtel is getting very stingy at putting new movies on at the first of every month.. also a lot of the rentals are very old movies which you can get on other cable sights for free! Every month I use to look forward to the new movies that came on but now they are poorly selected and very few! I'm a horror fan and there are hardly any new movies in the last few months! The only reason we keep it going is because my husband likes his sports!
5 weeks trying to resolve a problem with one of 3 iq boxes we have. Non English speaking agents makes it a nightmare in communication when trying to follow directions sounding like gibberish. I have had new cables posted out a replacement iq box posted out and hours talking to people that just want to try to fault find by phone. They are now posting a 2nd iq box
Thanks for ripping people off once again.do you think people don't want to listen to 60s,70s,90s and 2000s music?the new 80s channel is a far cry from max and MTV classics.i will be unsubscribing from foxtel.the music channel is the only reason I had had it in the first place.where are people supposed to watch classic music videos now?the 80s channel isn't playing hits at all anyway.give back the music people want?
