I agree with MS. Hass FROM august of 2024 . I received terrible sevice for filling a claim - they do everything they can to make it hard to file a claim. its a joke to talk to a live person. They do not respond to my questions and then give me an ultimatum if the claim is not finished in 7 days they will cancel me.I have 5 rugs and all of them are fraying around the edges
I bought insurance for my 1800 white couch - I bought it because the company claims the insurance covers stains, rips, bubbling, etc.I had a stain that wouldn't come off my couch though I tried to get it professionally cleaned. I submitted a claim and then Mulberry sent me off to the 'underwriter' who said they don't cover this. Since I didn't even know of this 'underwriter' before, and I bought my insurance directly from Mulberry - I'm spending so much time chasing after a resolution/explanation/etc. What Mulberry claims seems to be for the most part a lie. UPDATE:The problem is not the existenxe of an underwriter, it’s the lie that Mulberry says covers all the following which is in my dashboard clearly detailed. I submitted for a stain and they and the underwriter won’t cover it. I put in a claim for a rug that I've had for a few years. Mulberry prompted me through the entire process. Asking for details, specific photos and the date issues occurred. I heard back within a few days that my claim was approved. They're super easy to work with!
The technician was courteous, prompt and efficient with getting the repair completed. Also explained that the original install was not done correctly but was able to get the appliance back in working order with no issues. All in all a very good example of customer service and well completed work.
I couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars...PROS - They actually replaced my $1700 mattress after a large stain that would not come out! I was worried I'd never get here.CONS - It took 9 months. Once I submitted my claim, they transferred me to Guardsman who sent me multiple solutions including a cleaning kit, then a professional cleaner, then another professional to look at it when the stain wasn't fully gone still. This is all fine, but the communication was terrible and probably why it took 9 months. It was very difficult to get ahold of anyone most of the time, I had to submit "new" claims 3 different times to get someone to respond to me. And they never contacted me with updates or next steps like they promised they would so I would wait forever and then go through hoops to follow up with them instead. Overall a huge headache. But finally paid off thank the lort.
