Honestly, I don't know if I've ever had a better customer service experience, anywhere. Kristian went above and beyond to find the part we needed for our refrigerator. He was always cordial and responded with speed, concern and clarity. How often can you say it was a pleasure to go thru an extended warranty claim process? Here, that was the case. A great example of how it should be done!
So far, my experience with Mulberry is top tier. Their customer service is responsive and helpful, particularly when redeeming Mulberry rewards.I've yet to work with them on a protection claim (knock on wood I don't have to), but should that happen in the future, I'm sure I'll be met with the same great service.Very happy. Thank you!
My brand new Castlery Mori white couch and wooden tables were totally soaked/damaged when a pipe burst in my condo ceiling- this was obviously an accident and Mulberry did not cover a single thing. I sent various photos showing the damage to the wood, and the stains on the cushions. In the policy it states "Accidental Damage Criteria• The protection plan is intended to cover damage resulting from a single, sudden, and unexpected accidental event" and yet they did not cover a cent. During an already stressful time, this was another additional stress and burden. Now that I'm three months away from the event, I have the time to warn others not to buy any protection plans from them. I don't understand what I paid for and what exactly the warranty would cover. The explanation given was as follows "While we understand the event was unintentional, the nature of the damage falls under exclusions specific to water-related incidents not caused by direct, accidental interaction with the product itself." They go on to list the following: "Per the terms of your protection plan, the following exclusions apply:• Stains or damage caused by water leaks, including those from skylights, roofs, or water pipes• Stains or damage covered under any other insurance policy, including maintenance plans, manufacturer’s warranties, extended warranties, or homeowner’s or renter’s insurance." This was not caused by a leak, but by a pipe randomly bursting, and the furniture was not covered by any other insurance policy, which is why I bought the extended warranty. I recommend not wasting your money on Mulberry coverage unless you can get a detailed list of what situations they actually do cover (which doesn't seem available anywhere since everything is up to their interpretation).
My GE refrigerators compressor quit working on 5/7/2025. I called Mulberry to help to get service scheduled. Kristian @ Mulberry got everything handled with P.A.C.E Appliance repair located in STL. Though it was nobody's fault my repair wasn't able to be completed until 5/17 so everything in my refrigerator had to be thrown out. After my compressor was replaced and my refrigerator was back up and working again, I contacted Kristian @ Mulberry again to inquire if/how I could use the Food Lost Benefit for the perishable items I had to throw away. Kristian explained what I needed to submit a claim for my perishable items. Kristian and Mulberry was fantastic to work with. I'd give them 10 stars if they if that were possible. Thanks for all your help with the issue we encountered. I'd recommend Mulberry to anyone buying a policy to insure their appliances.
My Lg washer was making a loud noise. I contacted Mulberry and the next day they gave me name of the repair service company. To my service I had a repair company out a few days later. He said the repairs would have been too expensive so mulberry just authorized payment for a new washer the next day. No haggling or anything. I had the new washer on order the next day. Now I am just waiting for delivery. This was all done in less than a week.
