Denied my claim because the cat that defected on my covered mattress was not my cat, therefore they would not cover me. Mulberry replied to my review to make it seem like they want it make it better, but they didn’t. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Their coverage clauses allow them to deny literally any claim that comes across their desk.
I purchased the 10 year extended warranty last year for a helix sunset luxe. I made sure that it covered accidental pet damage specifically urine because I have old animals. We use water proof mattress covers and try to keep the animals out of our room to mitigate any damage. Well a year into having the mattress our cat had a seizure on our mattress while everything was in the washer and uncontrollably urinated on our mattress (what a horrible coincidence, I KNOW) I was extremely grateful that I purchased this warranty through mulberry, they sent a technician out to clean the mattress (he spent not even 10 minutes in and out) and I was grateful to have a resolution….only to be left with the stain reappearing and me spending my own money to have a cleaning company attempt to clean the stain. They told me my mattress is ruined and the stain isn’t coming out. Now I feel like i am battling this insurance company to get a replacement mattress WHICH IT STATES IS COVERED. It is extremely difficult to reach customer service as well. I was hoping to continue using this insurance for further purchases but now i’m very discouraged, as are the people in my life.
I have had to do two claims with mulberry, and I would not choose any other company if I have the option! My first claim was just over a year after my purchase, my husband broke the item and within 5 days I was approved and reimbursed. After taking a few photos and submitting the form it was an easy experience. Then less than a week later my husband broke the item he purchased as The Replacements and we followed another claim which took three days which was even more amazing. The process was easy, they are prompt about processing and very fast to email you back if you have any questions. I would definitely choose Mulberry for all of my warranty needs if I had the option.
Zero stars actually-This company and their retailer listed has ghosted my entire concern and claim. while I’m making my payments for the damage furniture which was damaged on day one by the retailer delivery guys. I am paying for their protection plan,and see my fifth attempt below reaching out to them. - I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the complete lack of response and accountability surrounding my damage claim under the Mulberry Protection Plan, which I purchased for $99.The claim was submitted on July 11, 2025, with all necessary documentation, including photos and the date of damage. Despite this timely and complete submission, your company has failed to respond in any capacity.Furthermore, I have made repeated attempts to follow up with both Mulberry Protection and the retailer American Freight. I have called numerous times and even visited the American Freight store in person, only to be given the runaround with no resolution. I have provided multiple dates and times I am available for service or replacement—yet still, no follow-up, no appointment, and no communication.This level of neglect is entirely unacceptable and appears to be deliberately deceptive. At this point, your collective lack of response amounts to fraudulent business practices. I am now forced to escalate this matter and will be filing formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) against both Mulberry Protection and American Freight.I expect a resolution immediately. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 5 business days, I will pursue all available legal and public channels to hold both companies accountable.This experience has been unprofessional, exploitative, and a clear case of customer abuse. It is unacceptable to sell protection plans with no intention of honoring them.
I had a busted tire for a bike I had insured. The application for a reimbursement was pretty easy and within days I was reimbursed. Simple process. I was afraid they'd try and make it hard to get reimbursed, but it wasn't that way. Only used it once, so we'll see how it is next time!
