Wonderful clothes and beautiful quality!

I love these clothes and feel the shipping from overseas is very reliable and quick. Sometimes things are back ordered which is fine and understandable. The quality is quite excellent for the price point and I have found discovering this product to be a great joy! The telephone customer service has always been helpful and pleasant in my experience.

Placed an order two days ago. Card was charged instantly. A confirmation email was promised, but one never arrived. Called, emailed, and Facebook messaged. No response.

Not a good choice

Not a good choice. Their free returns policy is not accurate, which in and of itself is a problem. But their clothing was poorly designed and there was an error on the shoes. I’m amazed they’re in business.

I have fallen in love with GS clothing and have created quite a little collection in the past year or so. I am a Seattle artist traveling to many art fairs to sell my work, and I find the pieces to be comfortable, interesting, and fun, with easy maintenance for quick turnaround between shows. They are a little expensive for me, so I watch the sales, but the quality is worth the investment. I get lots of comments on my style and feel great combining the clothing with classic and vintage to create a look unique for me. I've never had to return an item, so I can't speak to that issue.

I love these clothes and the shop is great

I’m quite surprised by the reviews, I have been a happy customer since 2012. I find the quality of clothing excellent, I’m fortunate enough to get vouchers every year from family and invariably also buy in the sales. I’ve never had a bad delivery, I use a drop off service local to me and they are always prompt. The clothes don’t always suit but I’m fortunate to be able to return them free in store. Or to go and try on first before ordering. I’ve never had anything of bad quality, the clothes I bought in 2012 are still going strong and because the clothes are fair trade, environmentally friendly and long lasting I feel better about what I’m wearing. I love that there is something for every shape and even though I would be very grateful for some rounder models to show off for us larger ladies, I’m now pretty good at knowing what will suit and what won’t. Darn those smock tops!

If you don't receive your item

If you don't receive your item, this company is terrible for customer back up. I didnt receive an order, and wrote twice, and phoned once, (and was assured something would be done), 3 days later, and I have heard nothing. These clothes are not cheap and I cannot afford to order something I dont receive. This is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I order quite a lot from them, but I am afraid, NO MORE. TOO BAD.

Placed an order in the sale, disaster!

Placed an order in the sale, and had a charge for postage taken from my credit card 24 hours later. Complained and was told to refuse the parcel. Decided to give in and live with it, but the teal blue slub cotton dress I'd ordered arrived muddy dark green, made of some light (viscose?) fabric without a slub in sight. They're giving me a complete refund which is a joke as it'll cost me a tenner to send it back!! Never again...

Contrary to other people here my experience with the online shop was very good.I ordered from Germany, 4 leggings and a tunica.The tunica was too large but that was due to my body shape and height - in the description they wrote that it has a loose fit but I tried it anyway because before trying you never know how it might fit.When sending back the return sticker for the package that was enclosed was not accepted by the post office because there was no barcode. I wrote to customer service and they said they don't receive enough retour stickers from the shipping company. Weird but ok. Obviously they sometimes send out invalid retour stickers with the original delivery in the hope they are not being used :-DBut they answered very quickly and promised to send me a valid retour sticker by mail which they did and it worked. The leggings I kept. The colours are identical to the website. The quality seems good so far and I'm very content.In the parcel two gifts were added: a small purse (as a bonus) and a scarf (for first-time-customers). Especially the scarf is really nice.So I have no complaints but I'm going to try future items in a store first (they have some all over Germany) because of the often loose fit.

Linen tunic; wrong colour; poor quality

I ordered a linen tunic. Online it was a beautiful lemon colour. When it arrived, it was lime green and totally unsuited to my needs.the package arrived in a plastic bag through UPS (Plastic, in this day and age!), and despite the beautiful young Swedish woman who is travelling the world to combat climate change. The quality of the cloth was also poor. It looks like cheap Indian cotton, and I dread to think what their dressmakers are paid. Very disappointed. I waited a long time to buy from them, but will not do so in the future.

A colourful Gudrun Sjoden mat decorates my kitchen and a flowered table runner brightens my dining room. I'm pleased with what I ordered from this online shop. Was the delivery the speediest? No. But my package came when promised. When I didn't get a tracking number right away, I called the company. Though clearly busy, the person who answered the phone spoke succinctly about what to expect--and I wasn't surprised because I had read the reviews. Was the items worth waiting for? I think so. Would I order again. I think I will.
