Very bad customer service and business practices.

Ordered and included gift card number. Their antiquated system did not reduce amount due by the the gift card amount as their instructions said it would. Contacted customer service, the only way to remedy was to return and re-buy. Items I purchased were no longer in stock. Too bad for me.....too bad for GS...they have lost a customer and I will make sure to tell everyone I know. I will be returning all items I purchased during the year end sale. Beware.Gudrun, Your designs are beautiful, but your customer service is crap!

Great quality and shopping experience…

Have ordered online and purchased from store in NYC. Online shipments arrive within a week, which I find totally acceptable. Shipping is free. Staff at NYC store is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the colors and patterns and the fact that the design team uses the same colors (or coordinating/complimentary) for many years so you can buy new items that work with older items. Quality is good on the tops, dresses, leggings, sweaters, and coats. Boots are extremely well made and comfortable. I have never purchased the pants. I like that the styles, colors, and patterns are different from run of the mill clothing you see in department stores.

Five stars

Excellent shopping experience. Beautiful clothes which wear and wash very well. Superb customer service (office in Scotland) where they go the extra mile to help customers (they called me regarding an issue with my delivery method, and sorted it even though it wasn’t a GS problem but rather a postcode anomaly). Also, having been a customer for over two years, I appreciate the generous loyalty credit vouchers which have been applied to my account. Not many companies do that.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, and a poor website showing expected in stock dates that miraculously lengthen (in my case by over six weeks) once you've ordered. Not wanting to wait two months for an item, I rang customer service and spoke to a frosty scottish lady who basically told me I needed to phone the London store to see if they had one, or I might be able to have a returned item in a month. Dreadful. Avoid no matter how colourful the clothes look.

Return costs are unacceptable.

Disappointed with the quality of the item I ordered so returned. Had not realised that this company deduct £10 from your refund to cover the cost of returning, and that returns are through UPS which meant a drive to their nearest collection point. Won't be ordering again.

DO NOT BUY ONLINE

I ordered and returned an article. I had to pay 13 euro after I returned. The customer service didn't respond to my mails. So I made a phone call. Very very unfriendly. I will never buy their clothes again.

Shocking

Shocking. I have wanted to buy something from this co.for ages...my kind of thing. The website is terrible to use and slow. Goods takes weeks arriving and you can't track online(it doesn't work). Finally get the goods, and am disappointed. Not worth the money. Now have to return them and wait ages for a refund.(minus £10 for postage). Horrible shopping experience......resist and leave well alone. So,so disappointed.

I have mixed feelings about this …Company!

I have mixed feelings about this company! The clothes are expensive but they do have great sales and promotions. I felt at their store that the salesperson was rude to me numerous times but sort of redeem themselves toward the end. The website is sometimes hard to navigate and sometimes hard to order. It has gotten better recently! If you need to reach them after 7:00 Eastern time, forget it, no one will answer their phone.Twice I left messages with customer service and never got an response. Some of the employees at their store and on-line have been very helpful while others aren't so much. So you see why I have mixed feelings!
