Brilliantly product and does more or less what it says it will do. There is 1 major flaw and one not so major. Major - The device is not water proof, rain or shower proof. Having paid a decent ammount for this I feel on egg shells everytime I wash my hands. I havnt encounted heavy rain yet but I suspecft I will need to remove it.Not so Major - I wear a fitbit on the other arm, the strap is much more robust, perhaps a change to a similar style in the strap and the fastening arrangements.Dont let these comments put you off this device, it has given me the exact information I was looking for and I dont hesitate to recommend it.Well done The Aktiia team.
Fantastic bit of kit a real game changer when it comes to blood pressure readings. I used to get so anxious and so would regularly give false readings. Now I forget that it’s on and so at my leisure I can check back & see true readings that are completely accurate & unaffected by “white coat syndrome”.It also looks really smart.
I used my aktiia bracelet for a few months with no concerns. Then, suddenly, after my bracelet ran out of battery, it could not longer be paired with my phone. Tried every possible suggestion listed on the website, with no success. Sent a number of emails to customer service with technical specs and info required, but to date I've had no reply. Very disappointing indeed. Should this silence persist on their part, I'll have no choice but pursue legal advice.
I get the benefits of this product and I have reviewed the data and compared readings with a traditional cuff and it looks accurate. However they have a problem with their battery on the wrist device . Mine started to fail and not take a charge after a few months. I took videos , photos etc as requested . That’s when customers service went quiet and no response .they did not give a ticket number for my complaint. You have asked for a ticket number for my complaint but you generated an automated reply with no number.
