Despite numerous poor reviews, I have to say that I had excellent experience with Aktiia support after purchasing my monitor, from larger replacement (rubber) bracelets to general queries, my customer support emails were always met with prompt responses. At least until my unit stopped working last month.After hundreds of successful charges last month, the sensor in my bracelet started “blinking fast” and simply stopped charging. After reviewing the company’s troubleshooting suggestions, I submitted a query to support including several photos and a short video. I received a response from a representative within less than 24 hours.In a subsequent email, the representative informed me that I had a defective device that was under warranty, and requested my original order number. I immediately provided that information. However, I have since received no response for more than three weeks. Frustrated, I resubmitted my original query, but aside from an automated response, my subsequent query was met with no response.As a nine-year stroke survivor, Aktiia initially seemed like a wonderful product, one that I recommended repeatedly to a number of people. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Aktiia in good conscience. In my opinion, brilliant concept, dodgy company.Note: In response to the company’s query, I never received a support ticket number.
I purchased this watch for my husband for medical reasons. We followed the set-up which was simple enough, bracelet charged. We tried to recharge the bracelet a couple of days later and it will not charge - no red light. Tried different cables/plugs/socket. I contacted support immediately (and also noted that this was an issue seen by others/plus shown in troubleshooting guide) yet one week on no response. I sent another email chasing the support ticket - again no response. I have now submitted a new request to have the product returned and refunded. There is no phone number to reach anyone on - website just takes you round in circles!! order number 03-39287.UPDATE: Thank you for your response but there is NO ticket number on either of the raised support requests, just an automatic response. Surely you can expedite via my email address or order number. The saga continues...
keeps good track of your blood pressure, generates daily, weekly and monthly reports, sometimes there are gaps in the daily readings but generally very consistent.puts your mind at rest, knowing what is going on without having to stop and strap on a cuff every time.The bracelet is comfortable to wear and the phone readouts are clear, all in all very useful tool to help you control your BP.
My Aktiia bracelet developed a fault where the cover over the sensor fell out due to corrosion underneath. I see this problem has happened to others. I reported this to Aktiia but have had nothing other than an automated email response almost a week later :(Aktiia, you didn’t send me any ticket number. I got an automated response asking for additional info which I provided immediately. Sept 9th 07.13am UK time was when I received that reply. You shouldn’t have too many people with my name to find me now….Update Friday 22/9/23 Here we are 3 days after supplying you with the additional information you requested here on Trustpilot and I’ve heard nothing about my issue at all. Looks like your promise to sort out my faulty bracelet was purely aimed at your reputation on Trustpilot rather than supporting your customer, bad form :((
Continuous monitoring, even at night, is a major advantage, which would be impossible with a cuff-based machine. The statistical output is very helpful when presenting results to a doctor. Having meaningful readings help to reduce "White Coat syndrome" anxiety levels.
