Where is zero stars? Why do I have to give them 1 star? They already took almost 1000.00 from a single parent and provided ZERO value. The fake leads were a waste, the company is a waste- never, I even hate all their actors at this point. What a con scheme.
Real estate agents, please save your marketing money advertising on this site that does not know the federal laws. I received a telemarketing call from Homes.com at 5:10 a.m. my local time. When I reached out to their support team, they explained that their call centers are located on the East Coast. However, the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule clearly states that telemarketing calls cannot be made before 8:00 a.m. in the recipient’s time zone.Calling customers at 5 a.m. is disruptive and against federal guidelines. I hope Homes.com addresses this issue and ensures compliance moving forward.
As a licensed Real Estate salesperson that deals mostly in rental properties I receive numerous calls inquiring about listings that I have. I have received numerous calls that when I answer the caller on the line states "This is Homes.com, we have an inquiry for you and will connect you now". When connected the person on the line wants to know why I am calling them and what do I want. I then have to explain that I received the call from their number through Homes.com - I did not call them. I have never received a viable lead on any property that I have advertised for rent the the MLS. They are a bogus company.
I have tried to unsubscribe three times and they have refused to take me off their mailing list, written to customer service and to Nova Valle nothing has happened. I’m gonna send this complaint to our Attorney General and there is a $20,000 fine when a company refuses to unsubscribe after twice notification. I think once our attorney general sees all the complaints about them from the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs. They won’t have a problem issuing a fine of that amount
Avoid Homes.com at all costs! I signed a one-year agreement at $982 per month, and before the contract ended, I spoke with two different representatives and made it very clear that I did not want to renew. Despite this, they went ahead and renewed me for another year without my authorization and continued charging my credit card $982 per month. To make matters worse, I’ve since learned that new subscriptions are being offered for only $318 per month, less than a third of what I was being charged. I never signed anything to approve this renewal, yet I’m still fighting with them to get it canceled. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would caution other agents and brokers to be very careful before doing business with Homes.com.
