I am gluten intolerant and I ordered gluten free burger but I received the regular bun - HB staff confirmed that the bun is GF, but it was the same as my friend has. I spent 2 days in hospital because of the allergic reaction as the bun was not GF. The burger was tasty so I give you 2*, even it almost killed me.
Greenwich Branch 8 Nelson Rd London SE10 9JBI went on a wet Sunday, 3 of us and two small children. The staff could not have been more helpful. They smiled, provided high chairs, bowls and spoons for the children to eat their own food help. I have dietary restrictions. The staff had full details of all the ingredients - no emulsifiers, nitrates, artificial preservatives, flavours or colours, just good, wholesome, delicious food. he onion rings are to die for. The chips are cooked on their own so if you are vegetarian, vegan, kosher or halal you can eat them without worries. The burgers my friends had were delicious. The decor and cleanliness were good - a nice temperature - not too hot. The staff did not rush us at all even though we were taking up quite a lot of spaced They really did bend over backwards for us and nothing was too much trouble to make our meal and dining experience as good as possible. It will now be one of my go to places to take friends to who are visiting London
I order frequently from the Manchester restaurant. The burgers are exceptional, very tasty and fresh. Wait times are only ever long on peak nights. The rosemary salted chips are to die for and the service is always friendly. Would highly recommend ordering from here, definitely the best burger place in Manchester.
Do not order from the new Croydon branch. My boyfriend and I ordered food on Valentines Day through Deliveroo so of course, we were expecting a slight delay. However, waiting 2 and a half hours for a branch that is 10 minutes from us to only receive soggy and stone cold food is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the driver just dumped it on our doorstep and ran up the stairs before we could say anything. They weren't even offering collection otherwise we could have avoided this situation completely. I searched high and low for some kind of contact number but it turned out the branch we ordered from had NO contact details to be seen. I finally got in touch with Deliveroo during the wait who told me they were still waiting for a driver although we'd had one assigned to us within the first 20 minutes? I recognise that Deliveroo is partly to blame, but to let the food leave the restaurant the way Honest did is the worst I have ever experienced. The mere £5 compensation they offered me does not cover the sheer disappointment and frustration of wasting £39.If you want to enjoy their food, go to their branches when they are open again. I'm not sure I will be after being treated like this

It’s been over 10 years and we’d like to think we’re now pretty good at burgers and chips. It’s been a bit of a blur, a lot of hard work, but that’s been half the fun. Good enough just isn’t good enough here. We don’t mean to brag but we’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times.
