Review Time
I bought the Exuberantly Fruity box for my partner's birthday. It was delivered fine, but it was missing one of his favourite chocolates! The passion fruit ball. Very disappointing, :( he enjoyed the rest of the chocolates, but I don't know how you can send out an incomplete box.
Had update that my goods had been delivered, checked with photo that had been send this us not at my property. If the delivery man was drivibg a yellow transit he turned in the farm yard. As its raining heaverly that box with my gifts will be damaged. I will be looking for a full refund.
Just opened a delivery from Amazon for tomorrow's Father's Day. The chocolates were utterly disgusting. Melted. The chocolates were completely melted and they're inedible. Chocolates overrun into each compartment in the box. How this company gets a score of 3.8 out of 5...
Booked a tasting event wow what a surprise Jake so knowledgeable about each and every chocolate we tasted. Very professional, polite, friendly, helpful and smartly dressed. Nothing was too much trouble and eager to please. Appreciated our feedback. Mel who was also very professional, helpful and friendly, assisted us with various shopping queries again eager to please. Overall we all had a lovely experience fantastic value for money, came away satisfied with a good knowledge of the chocolate 😀
The service & products from Hotel Chocolate are great but the delivery service from Amazon is terrible. The driver rang my doorbell & before I could get to answer he'd put the box down outside my front door & got back in his van. He had no way of knowing whether I was in or not & the box was left in full view of passersby & in the sun! My 2nd delivery was left behind the bin on a hot day! Not acceptable.
Excellent service as always delivered when they said. Although I would have liked the driver to knock the door as the chocolates were left in the sun. Fortunately I found them per chance. The delivery driver let you down.The chocolates were lovely and had the sleeve on for fathers day. My hubby loves Hotel Chocolat.
Ordered the Father's Day box at £45.Delivery was on time but without the sleeve on the box that made it Father's Day!Also the website made it impossible to get the box delivered to an address orher than the billing address. My husband tried three times but eventually gave up. I tried, knowing the problem he experienced and did think I had managed to get the delivery address as a gift recipient but once I had gone through the payment page the address reverted to mine as the billing address.Totally frustrating.This would have been slightly less so had the product been as described with the gift sleeve.All in all a waste of my time and money. Could have picked up some artisan chocolates locally and taken them to Father myself - as I will have to deliver these myself anyway.
