SCAM - STOLE MONEY

As I am writing this complaint, I am stranded at 3:29 AM. I booked a last minute hotel for the night at 1:50 AM for 8/24/23 and would check out by 7AM for work. I specifically searched last minute hotel booking and “HotelTonight” came up. As I am booking the hotel room it has an option that asks whether you want a last minute hotel. So I booked the hotel with the expectation that I would be able to get in the hotel room right away. The Hotel staff said they could not let me in before 3pm in the afternoon. I called HotelTonight and customer service did not help me at all. They made one phone call to the front desk and the staff told them that HotelTonight would have to adjust the booking on their end. HotelTonight could not adjust the booking so that I could be let in earlier. In spite of this, HotelTonight did not attempt to book another hotel for me to sleep. When I asked for them to cancel the reservation since I won’t be able to check into the hotel and won’t have a need for the hotel until 3pm, THEY SAID NO. So now I am stranded in the streets and no money to book another hotel. I want my money back. HotelTonight is a Fraudulent business. Their website is literally called “HotelTonight”, which aludes you can book a last minute hotel for the night. Additionally, there is no indication that your reservation is for 3pm that day before you pay for the reservation. You are only notified upon receiving your email confirmation.HOTELTONIGHT REFUND MY MONEY. It’s nowhere near 3pm so you guys can still refund my money. Very inhumane and unethical what you guys are doing.

Sold nonexistent room

My son and his wife were enroute to ATL, diverted and mis connected. Knowing hotels fill up quickly I booked on HotelTonight. I found an airport DoubleTree. My son arrived at the hotel to find no rooms. The desk clerk said HotelTonight keep booking even with no rooms. I'm deleting this app after I get my refund that hasn't happened yet

FRAUD!!!

FRAUD!!!Never used them and received a charge for $247. I called to ask about it and they request card number and expiration date. Which you shouldnt give. Offered them the "transaction number" and they cant look it up with that. AVOID AND WATCH OUT

Before any legal action is taken

Before any legal action is taken, I was told on a recorded line I’d be refunded for my reservation because of the time you all had wrong on the reservation. Now 2 months later I am being charged $172 on my account, and of course the company hotel tonight then decided to block my online access from company after reversing the claim on my chase account.

thieves. made double booking, after being told there would be no issue canceling first booking as there was misleading information, and after that, we got charged for both booking with no help nor resolution.

Hotels tonight is a scam

This company is a scam. You expect to get a great deal on the best rooms, instead you get the worst rooms at the highest price. Breakfast is never included…Paid 350 euro for a room at the elevator, cleaning woman comes in at 9:15 and just opens the door(we check out), no water in room, no breakfast and very small bed. Basically hotels tonight is where the hotels offload their last rooms that booking or hotels.com would never take..

Defamation lawsuit

Booked on the app, paid and they took my money. Then (possibly as I got a good rate) they decided to cancel and when I turned up to the hotel that is where I was told they would not check me in or allow me to take a room as I was a fraudster and I was in serious trouble. Was asked to remove myself from the premises in front of many people even though I was a bonvoy marriot member for years at a good level with my id and amex to boot. The manager at the hotel said they do not want fraudsters in their hotel and hotel tonight had informed them we committed fraud. Hotel was Courtyard Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.

Hotel was 1 hour and 15 minutes from the destination I searched.

I searched a hotel in Cranberry, PA and under the list for Cranberry, PA, they showed me a hotel that was at a good price. So I booked it then after I booked it, I realized that it was 1 hour and 15 minutes away. They won't refund the money for the reservation.

Worst experience ever all I asked was if could use my reservation under a different day I did not want to cancel it and emergency occurred and I couldn’t make it . And I was asked for medical records to prove it and still they cannot guarantee they could help will never use them again
