Have used them a handful of times and all went as promised. Booked a hotelin Ohio and upon arrival they had no information about our reservation. Called Hoteltonight and they calledthe hotel to resolve the situation. (The hotel had given our room to someone else). The person I talked to at Hoteltonight stayed on the phone with me until we had a room.
I have used hotels.com for several years with no problems. I booked a property in Palm Springs that turned out to be an unsafe, dirty dump, sub-standard not up to code small boutique hotel. Pictures/description did not match the property when I arrived. I never spent the night as it was uninhabitable. Hotelstonight.com refuses to refund $ even though the pictures show a broken shower door, no smoke detector, no hood range over the stove. Foil under the heating elements on the stove=fire hazard etc.Property "A place in the Sun" still on the website=slum lords.
I reserved a room with them, when I got to the hotel, the hotel had given away my room and said I would get a refund. Complained to HotelsTonight and the scam company said that for the $300 they charged me they would give me a half credit to use in the future and get to endure the pleasure of not having anything for the money I paid at a later date. They are a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the aggravation and just book direct
Buyer beware!!! Terrible service do not book with these people I promise you will regret it.. they will lie and say they will call you back but they never did and I called back and they wouldn’t let me talk to a supervisor.. save yourself some trouble and don’t use hotels tonight
I booked a room in November and in the app I selected a 2 bed room. Even have a screenshot of the final screen before clicking pay, this was to share with a friend I’m splitting it with. Room was booked. When we check in they only have a 1 bed room. Turns out HotelTonight booked me a 1 bed room instead of what I selected. If you do use them which I suggest you don’t, check your confirmation email immediately as this can be different from what you booked. Their customer service offered a $25 credit for the trouble as I would need to book another room $700+ to get a second bed. I sent them my screenshot proof of the 2 beds selected and they claim I could have just did this today and screenshot it. The hotel doesn’t have 2 beds available the day of Check in and the price would be different, so how is that? Also sent them a screen record of my conversation with my friend in November with the screenshot showing the totals and 2 beds. Horrible experience. Don’t use a service like this, you think you might be saving but you’ll end up paying way more in frustration.
