One of the worst websites for tax…

One of the worst websites for tax preparation. Constantly bugging you to upgrade to premium support, just over and over and even though you choose no some kinda way they slip in charges. The site gets stuck in constant loops and you have to jump to some other sections just to break the loop. It's just the same questions over and over. You would think if you answered it one time and then moved on it would remember, but nope starts right back over and over I would never recommend this over priced worthless site to anyone. $209 to file a simple federal tax and 69 for state and. Stay away from this site and go elsewhere. Next year I'll surely go elsewhere. I've only attached the State invoice section to hide my identity.

I bought the wrong product

I bought the wrong product, online version instead of MAC version. I spent weeks trying to speak to a person, I emailed, I left messages, but no-one responded. Shame because I have used product for over ten years and used to be good.

Extreme Stress

I filed my taxes months ago and figured everything for be fine. I was told returns in my account in 14 days, that turned into 21 days, turned into over a month before my money was not direct deposited into, a thing I paid nearly $200 after I basic filed everything then at the last screen was forced to after they greyed out the free filing option right at the end, a move that should be illegal, but instead given to some other company, TPG, that then claimed they sent it to my bank but the deposit was rejected, a thing my bank has no record of, and that they sent it as a cashier's check. When I notified Turbo tax they basically told me it wasn't their problem, though of course in a very round about way. TPG basically is unreachable, and after a month of waiting for this magical cashier's check that disappeared into the void, I think it was never sent, I'm told my only option is to either have then resend the check that I still think never happened, or let them send my return back to the IRS and they won't tell me how to claim my money at that point. Four calls to Turbotax throughout this whole thing and well, they not only aren't helpful, but tell me I have to jump through hoops to request a refund on the so called "Deluxe" service I paid for. How very "Deluxe" waiting months to not get my money and get told repeatedly every one of their screw ups is my problem to laboriously fix. I will never use them again and will post this review every place I can which funny enough, their own website has reviews, but no wait for users to leave a review.... Mmm, how very misleadingly shady...

They are the worst company I've ever…

They are the worst company I've ever dealt with. The customer service hung up on me twice after holding for 30 minutes. They stole my money for both 2019 and 2020. I ended up having to file with liberty tax for both those years. Why are they allowed to do this to people?

When the IRS failed to issue my return…

When the IRS failed to issue my return on time, Turbotax sent me notice that they would be charging my account for the services I opted to have charged to my tax return. This is extremely predatory behavior and I will neither use nor recommend this service in the future.

Double dipping

My son used my bank for his refund and pay tur o tax fees 265.00 they were take. Out whe. He filed and July 2 I got charged 265.00 and I did not Authorize turbo tax so I'm pissed. Going to fe with Bbb

TurboTax is the ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!!!!

TurboTax is the ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!!!!! Worst decision I made was to use TurboTax to file my taxes !!!!!!! They DO NOT help you at ALL and I paid almost as much as I did when I used H&R Block!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s been over 4 months now and I still haven’t received ANY updated info on my tax return !!!! When I tried to contact customer support they didn’t even know how to help me (FYI I tried MULTIPLE times to contact customer service) !!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTE TRASH !!!!!!!!!!! Will NEVER EVER use TurboTax again !!!!!!!!!!!!! If there was a 0 Star that’s what I would rate them !!!!!!! Save your money, your time and Countless stress and headaches and file your taxes somewhere else !!!!!!!!!! You’ll Thank Me Later !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude Customer Service

For 100% of the questions I posed using the additional chat service that I paid for, I was told to contact customer service. Dannae in particular is the worst 'tax specialist'. Her chat had typos that made our conversation feel callous and I felt I was nothing more than a ticket she wanted to close in a hurry. And when I brought this up up with her, she ended the chat. I'm done with these guys.
