I switched from another 2nd line provider to iPlum because of all the added benefits. I appreciate having the option to keep business contacts separate from personal, the ease in sending texts, and the clarity of instructions for virtual attendants. It has also cut down on the spam calls tremendously! I put off doing this because I was afraid of issues if I ported my old number— like delays in service or lost messages, but there were none. IPlum makes it easy to do! Wish I had done it a year ago!!!
I am very pleased with iPlum. More secure, less expensive than previous solution I'd found for my business. I guess the reason I don't mark it LOVE IT or EXCELLENT is that once a month or so, I will discover that my mobile iPlum app is completely logged out... So I have missed incoming calls, I've missed texts.. until I HAPPEN to open the app to make a call myself. This is very problematic and has created a bit of paranoia about the app.All other functioning is good to very good.
It was easy to schedule a troubleshooting session with a representative who called right on time. He was friendly and fixed my issues efficiently and effectively. I have also gotten quick responses to my email queries, so phone calls are rarely needed. But when they are, iPlum delivers the help I need.
Shortly after submitting my last review, a customer service specialist called me and helped me to update my iPlum settings. So, all previously mentioned issues have been resolved. The sound is now much more clear and I can answer my calls as they come-in. Excellent customer service!!!
I don't like the customer service. I don't get notifications and miss many texts and calls. I don't like the actual interface either. I don't find it user friendly. I'm switching services by the end of the year.FYIThis review was originally two stars. I think I gave them too much credit initially. After interacting with Iplum, I will not take the professionalism of Spruce for granted in the future.
I paid for hippa compliance. I get spam calls. I get pornographic marketing. When I find a service that works like it should I’m gone. I run a business. Update. Service manager called me and suggested that I keep blocking the numbers individually or going into the system and put each phone number in until they eventually stop. I’m not sure about other business owners but I don’t have time to be inundated with pornography and manually blocking each number hoping that they eventually stop. No worries I’m still a customer but I’m definitely looking elsewhere.
