this was the worst experience I have ever had with Lowes. JB Hunt is so incompetent that I am afraid to allow them to hook up my ice maker to the new fridge. they have lied about coming to my house, attempting to contact me, and these lies come from the drivers, the answering service, and the so-called customer service managers! I have been a years long customer of Lowes but that relationship is now over due to JB Hunt delivery service. If and when I get out of the nightmare of delivery for the stove tomorrow I will never set foot in a Lowes store again. This nightmare is all there fault for hiring JB Hunt and then not helping the customer get items paid for delivered.
Aaron and his coworker (out of Dauphin PA) were courteous and professional. The were extremely careful in moving the refrigerator through tight spaces. They even knew how to level the replacement fridge. (The local appliance store original installers had no idea were or how to level.) With all the negative reviews I was very apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised.
HORRIBLE install service. The tech contracted by lowes to JB Hunt for delivery and installation forgot to hook up the drain line to the drain, started a spin/drain cycle and flooded my house, that I had moved into 3 weeks prior. I called him immediately, he came back and hooked the drain up properly and apologized for his error. Meanwhile water is pouring through the ceiling below to my living room. I called JB Hunt and they were absolutely NO HELP and told me to pay for everything and wait to be reimbursed. I have lost 3 days of pay while a water mitigation company came in and ripped up my brand new flooring and ceiling and set up equipment to dry the water up. It is now 3 weeks later and no construction can start until I pay out of pocket a down payment of a thousand dollars. Absolutely disgusted with their lack of accountability. I should have made 1 phone call to JB Hunt and they should have immediately taken care of it from there. Now they wont even answer my calls or emails.
We had JB Hunt for our last mile delivery from 4 Seating Company. Out drivers David and Dewey were absolutely amazing. They were both very professional and knowledgeable with the product. They not only did they deliver the seats but completed the installation. I could not have been happier with the process. I have been in transportation for over 50 years and these two gentleman set the bar for professional drivers. Thank you to both for making this a most enjoyable eexperience.
JB hunt marked my delivery as attempted even though they didn’t reach out to me via phone when they arrived. They sent an email, which I got after the driver supposedly departed, even though by my estimate, he waited around less than 10 minutes. I called to see if they could get him back and the first customer service rep said they don’t so re-delivery and I would need to get a refund from the store I ordered my furniture from and start from the beginning (after waiting a month for a delivery date and scheduling work around it). I called a local number next and was told the driver was still in my area and would try to come back by end of day. Just waiting now. But seriously?? If you didn’t have a customer’s number, why would you wait to notify them until you were already there?? They should have emailed me last night. I also don’t understand why they didn’t use my phone number attached to the order at headquarters if the individual driver didn’t have it. I complained to the furniture company, but they can’t do anything until JB hunt either comes to me or sends them the stuff back. A total scam! They already have the money from the store and could care less if I get my items. I usually avoid third parties like this for these very reasons, but had no choice with this order.
Absolutely THE WORST delivery service in history! They are the contractors for HD-purchased a refrig and set delivery-it was raining and the refrig is big-they first told me it wouldn't fit in the spot-the old refirg is LARGER than the new one! When I called to complain, the manager said the issue was the water supply cut off valve-first I'd heard of that issue-paid to have it fixed to their specs-they came back out and still refused to remove old refrig because it wasn't spotless on the inside! They wouldn't even move it to the garage and put my new one in its place! Am now rescheduled for the 2nd time for next week! Workers don't want to work, customer service is awful-generally the worst company EVER. HD nor JBH will tell you everything that needs to be done in order for them to put your appliance in place and take the old one-they just keep finding one reason after another to not do their jobs.
This company was contracted by Frontgate to deliver a very large mirror to my new home. 1st mishap was delivery truck arrived at home on scheduled day but only sent 2 guys. The mirror weighs 400 lbs. They didn’t even take it off the truck; said they already knew it was too heavy for the two of them. Came back a week later with 3 guys. Refused to use my moving blankets to protect my wood floor,-said they were fine!!! Item came in a large wooden crate-they unpacked/unscrewed the crate inside my home and took a big gouge out of the floor and scratched it all over at the front entry area. When taking it up the stairs the gouged the walls with the frame, scuffed the paint off the walls with the frame and their bodies while trying to turn it up the stairs and then finally scuffed the top stair as they slid the mirror onto the rug. It left silver paint on the stair wood. When leaving I was asked to sign the work order. I had paid for white glove delivery service that was explained to me would be very careful I signed it but added that my floor was damaged as were the walls. I showed the damage to the foreman and took pictures while I showed him. When contacted Frontgate I was told to call JB Hunt. When I spoke to JB Hunt they said they subcontracted out to another company, AMW Trucking without notifying me. I was told to contact them. They in turn denied there was damage, said I never told them there was damage when they were there-said they had laid blankets over my entire floor (100% lie) and that I had signed the work order indicating everything was fine. When asked about my notation they said it was not there. Knowing I had written that I asked for a copy-they have not provided it even though this was over a year ago. I told them I knew they didn’t have that document because that is not what I signed. Now JB Hunt has reviewed the claim and has denied it saying1. The team carried it into the house.2. The damage pictured would have to be a long line to be from the mirror3. The mirror would have been damaged if it had scratched the floor and wallsThey have made no attempt to come to my house to see the damage or to estimate repairs. I have provided 3 estimates to them. This is a new house. The damage is accurate to the described unpacking. There may well be damage to the frame of the mirror but it is 400 lbs and is now attached to a wall to prevent tipping so I did not turn it upside down to investigate scratches. I have invited them to come over and do that. It has been since February of 2020 since this delivery and I’m still fighting them to pay for repairs.I would not recommend either of these unreliable, careless companies to anyone who cares about their order or their home.Sent from myMail for iOS
The couch is 5 miles away from me sitting in a warehouse, but they claim they can't deliver it for another month due to being backed up on orders. They are a shipping and logistics company. They are bad at shipping and logistics. There is no excuse or other way to put it. Incompetent.
