Delivery today for a whirlpool wall oven. Paid for delivery and install. Dude was a POS from the second he got here. Complained about everything. We went to get a block of wood to support the oven. He grabbed his tools and said I'm not waiting. Walked out, bitching at us, and left. We now have a wall oven just sitting on the floor. My wife and I are in our 60s and no way can we lift it. We have no idea what to do.
I scheduled a delivery on December 5th for the 29th. The 29th came and the delivery window passed and an hour later JB Hunt called me to let me know they never actually "scheduled a driver to deliver the product" and wanted to reschedule me for January 14th with no option for earlier delivery.January 14th comes and an hour into the delivery window I have the fear the same thing is going to happen. I call JB Hunt again and they say that they don't actually any inventory and will have to reschedule again, this time to January 28th.I will be taking at least 3 days off of work because of the 4 hour delivery window. No expedited delivery and no compensation for all of their failed deliveries. I would not risk using them for anything I actually expect to receive. They repeatedly fail to delivery and can't even notify the customer in advance. It's up to the customer to contact them repeatedly to ensure they they will actually receive the product at the scheduled time
My experience with JB Hunt Home Delivery representative Michelle M has been excellent. She is knowledgeable, professional, and has a wonderful attitude. Michelle answered all of my questions and truly put me at ease, making me feel confident that my delivery was being handled with care and expertise. She is absolutely an asset to JB Hunt.
Every time we have a delivery scheduled with J.B. Hunt, they reschedule due to the weather—3 years of dealing with this company's terrible service and cancellations. The last planned delivery was rescheduled, and they almost didn't deliver the product because it had to go up a flight of stairs (which was detailed in the notes). I ended up having to help them. Why do companies still outsource their deliveries to J.B. Hunt?
I would never use this courier based on how many times I've seen one of their trucks hindering traffic. Either they are 10-15mph under the speed limit, can't make a turn and block the intersection or stall taking off and hold up traffic
You have to bend over backwards to accommodate for this company. Been trying to get a Peloton bike picked up since beginning of April. They only do Wednesdays and Fridays pick up during regular working hours, for which unfortunately due to the healthcare structure of this country I'm not able to accommodate given we are short staffed and cannot just take the day off because JB Hunt can't figure it out logistically. They also accused me of being out of reach - which I had to correct them because I called them multiple times to try and resolve the issue and they basically told me call us back when you can be home during regular work hours. I took a week off from work to relocate for a new job. They said their routes are full months in advance (so why didn't you just schedule me when I told you I would be free this week?). Now they're trying to spin this story saying that they didn't know about the order and Peloton shouldn't have cancelled the pickup order ( which was done to avoid me being charged the monthly fee since they are such princesses I have to bend over backwards to accommodate their precious schedule). I cannot image how this company still exists if they cannot handle the logistics of pick up 2 months it advance. The 1.2 start overall review is a generosity given their gross incompetence and absolute audacity. Surprised that this company is actually surviving in today's economy but maybe they will go bankrupt soon given how badly they've managed this situation.Side note: the delivery people, the people actually doing the work, are absolutely amazing and such friendly guys. They were professional and got the job done quickly when they delivered my bike. Nothing bad to say about them. I would give them all the extra stars I took from their companies. I hope that they are compensated fairly by JB Hunt (wishful thinking).
Company was contractor hired by Home Depot to deliver and install dishwasher. First they came and refused to install it claiming that there was a leaking dishwaser valve and that had to hire plumber to fix it. Plumber replaced and told me the installer should not have touched that valve it was turnoff to sink, not dishwasher and they probably caused the leak. After fixing that, a different JB Hunt crew came back and said they could not install dishwasher because the electricity was turned on to the dishwasher and that I needed to turn off electricity at the fuse box. The worker accompanied me to fuse box and turned off the furnace instead and I showed him the diagram which matched up the fuses with the appliances. He said no, he needed to turn off #6 fuse but that was the furnace. So I went back downstairs and turned off fuses to all of the kitchen appliances including the dishwasher. Then crew said no, they would not install it, they just wanted the dishwasher turned off everything else back on. So I sent back downstairs and turned off the fuse to just the dishwasher and came back upstairs. Then the head of the crew said he could not install the dishwasher because the floor was not level. I asked what did he mean by that and he showed me that the wood flooring was installed outside the dishwasher and dishwasher was sitting on the subflooring. He said they would install the dishwasher only if I hired a flooring contractor to install wood flooring under the dishwasher too. Which is ridiculous. The floor under the dishwasher was level just different from the hardwood flooring in the kitchen. Plus dishwashers have adjustable levelers if there were issues with leveling. So obviously these guys were just making up reasons not to install the dishwasher even though I paid for installation service, not just delivery. Both crews wanted to just drop off the dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen uninstalled. SCAMMERS-- DO NOT HIRE THEM BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL YOUR APPLIANCES.
