my review about Joseph James when I purchased my dining room table they were all over me once it arrived very safely with the removal company who delivered it to me. It took me about an hour and a half to 2 hours to unpack it when I unpacked the last bit and put the table together, there was chips at the side of the table on three sides which I’ve taken photos of and sent them back to Joseph Jameswhen I connected with them, they told me to send photos which I did then I spoke to the customer service people and the woman I spoke to said how much do you want us to take off? so I replied, you give me an offer and she offered me £50 which is absolutely ridiculous. Then she asked me how much you want. I said anything between £150-£200 so it’s taking me about 15 more taxes to get food to them to make them understand that this table is not suitable for what it was sold for I bought a table that was meant to be perfect new and look new and looked good. I’m really disgusted by their behaviour the customer service department will not respond to my messages. It took me about 15 messages for us to get through to them They then said now they want a technician to come round and they said they don’t know how long it take for them to get a technician amount to my house which is absolute diabolical. I searched them if they offered me a reasonable price I will get the table repaired myself but they’ve been very very difficult very very, very very dishonest about the way they behave. now they’re saying I signed the documents that means they can’t get any money back from the courier on the document. It doesn’t say anything. The documents that the couriers brought round to me. The document was stuck on the actual packing. It took me two hours to unpack this table it was very well packed. I must’ve meant that the table is damaged and I’m trying to make them understand that the table is damaged and I didn’t have time to actually wait for the table to be unpacked. If they unpacked it for me then fine they wouldn’t do that so I’m disgusted by their behaviour. They are a really really really bad organisation and don’t buy anything from them. Please do not buy anything from them. I mean do not buy anything from them. Thank you

I couldn't have been more impressed with all the help I got off Josh the salesman. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for me. Also the delivery guys did everything possible to help me. It was an all round pleasant experience. Next time I need furniture there will be only one choice for me and I will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you.

Great service and advice

Great service and advice. Guided me to a matress that was not only more comfortable for me, but also more inline with my budget. To be honest, I was suspicious, thinking this approach maybe a slick, pshycological sales tactic. However, after testing both my original choice and the option suggested, I came to the conclusion that my suspicion was unfounded. Can't thank Chris enough. With regard to the showroom itself, it very well laid out, lots of furniture, beds, mattresses to choose from. All in all a great experience. Thanks Chris.

Retailers send us clearance stock for many reasons. We receive photography samples, end-of-line stock, cancelled orders, customer returns and ex-display pieces. This stock is sorted, quality checked, photographed and uploaded to our website.

    As our name suggests, we were founded in 2019 by Joseph and James. After leaving school at 18, they launched the company from a dilapidated basement unit in a Stockport mill with just 5 sofas.

    The popularity of their discounted branded sofas and rapid delivery model facilitated strong growth. Joseph and James have always sought to do things differently from the incumbent outlets. This began by being the first furniture outlet to host a website which showed their live stock and was available to be ordered immediately by customers. Joseph and James don't wish to be just another furniture outlet, they want to be the biggest furniture outlet. They want to have a nationwide presence of large showrooms which offer a unique furniture shopping experience.See more
