Scam Warning – Avoid Joseph James Furniture ⚠️I purchased 3 pieces of furniture from Joseph James Furniture for £2,500. One of the main items, a dining table, was delivered in a faulty and damaged condition – far worse than what was shown in the showroom.When I contacted the sales team, they simply redirected me to their “services” department. After sharing multiple photos of the damages, their response was nothing but excuses to avoid responsibility. No real help, no accountability, and absolutely no attempt at resolving the issue.This business is not customer-focused and lacks basic business ethics. From my experience, they operate more like a clearance/removal business disguised as a furniture shop, pushing damaged stock without standing by their products.👉 Save your money and avoid the stress – do not buy from Joseph James Furniture.
Went to look for 3 piece suit reclinerChris was very helpful showed us where they were,said just give him a shout if we needed him,found what we liked but didn't have right colour he got on phone said he could get what we wanted any time after Sunday, he was so helpful no pressure to get a sale a joy to shop there.Thank you Chris .
Faultless service from Lucy in the showroom to the delivery guys ( they even had to take a fence panel out!) to deliver my table. We were kept informed about the order status. Have already recommended to several friends and family! Lucy helped us by patiently measuring and alleviating my concerns about the type of table. There was also no pressure to buy and we weren’t followed around the showroom like some places! We will be back for other furniture.
Hoping to become a first time buyer soon and as such will be looking to kit out my new place! Popped into the Stretford store as its local to me! We are not a typical furniture store. In fact, we do virtually everything differently. We receive and process clearance stock from traditional retailers. Retailers send us clearance stock for many reasons. We receive photography samples, end-of-line stock, cancelled orders, customer returns and ex-display pieces. This stock is sorted, quality checked, photographed and uploaded to our website.
As our name suggests, we were founded in 2019 by Joseph and James. After leaving school at 18, they launched the company from a dilapidated basement unit in a Stockport mill with just 5 sofas.
The popularity of their discounted branded sofas and rapid delivery model facilitated strong growth. Joseph and James have always sought to do things differently from the incumbent outlets. This began by being the first furniture outlet to host a website which showed their live stock and was available to be ordered immediately by customers. Joseph and James don't wish to be just another furniture outlet, they want to be the biggest furniture outlet.
