Oh lord, made the horrendous mistake of not checking here (trustpilot) before ordering from Le Specs, for some reason thought it was a legit company as they are sold in many places.. couldn't be more wrong. TERRIBLE company that lure you in with a"European website" and say NOTHING about import taxes, in my case over 30 euros!!!! Ship from Australia and take a loooong time for them to arrive. Not happy with the glasses but no point in trying to return at this stage, paying more for return costs myself and not even knowing if they will go through... Le specs apparently pay some agency to run their marketing on social media where they post all the time but don't even care to respond to their actual customers here on through email. Disgrace! COULDN'T RECOMMEND LESS!!!!!!
Warning: Total rip-off! The package comes from Australia. I had to pay €30 in customs fees! Return Shipping to Australia at my own expense costs another €150. What a disgrace! The customer isn't informed of this during the entire ordering process! Customer service hasn't responded despite five inquiries!
I went to Germany for my close friend's birthday, so I ordered the glasses beforehand to arrive there. I saw the delivery timeline after making the purchase, it was past the birthday date. I contacted the support literally an hour after placing the order, asking to cancel it, they responded 2 days after that it was impossible (surprise-surprise with this speed of addressing customer requests/concerns). Then I got the tracking number of the parcel. On the due date I was at home ALL DAY LONG, however, my package was not delivered to me, and NO information was left to me, although the DHL link was saying otherwise. I went to a DHL office, and they gave me no information, except for their support's phone number, by calling which I was only able to talk to a bot. I contacted Le Specs' customer support asking to help me locate the parcel, because at that point there was nothing I could do. Their response 2 days after was to go to the DHL office and ask them, although I said that I'd done that already. They offered either a refund or a replacement, which I DON"T WANT at this point, given the appallingly slow and unhelpful service, and the fact that I am leaving Germany tomorrow, so there is no way I'll be able to pick up the parcel even if they locate it after all. They will not respond to my comments on Instagram, although they keep posting, showing total indifference to their clients and obviously avoiding any responsibility. I want my money refunded in full, which, judging by the rest of the comments, is not going to happen. I rue the day I ordered from this company, because if you can't ship abroad, do not advertise free delivery worldwide, if you're gonna wash your hands of delivery problems, if you can't support your customers, don't start the business. POOR service I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I bought a pair of glasses in November and I am still waiting for them. Shipment was to Europe. I contacted the customer service to receive no answer or support from them! Do not offer Europe shipment if you can’t manage it and reply to your customers! Poor poor service
Super easy and efficient process to buy my new Le Spec sunglasses! Website was easy to navigate and loved the ability to "Try On" the glasses on your own face - game changer for online glasses shopping..Checkout was also easy to use and follow up emails with shipping detail was great. I placed an order on August the 7th, shipping was supposed to take 7 to 12 business days. On August 21 there was an "attempted" delivery from DHL -that never happened since I was home- and since then no update. I contacted DHL to locate the package and they said fro UE orders -the glasses are shipped from AU- is the local post company in charge of the delivery and that they can't locate the package. Big surprise, when I contacted the local company that allegedly was in charge of the delivery they don't know anything about this package.After this, I contacted 2 days ago the customer service of Le Specs and also DHL again, since someone will have to locate the package or declare it lost.No reply from anyone. Honestly, if some of the orders arrive to the EU, be ready to wait a month + to get it. And if there is a problem, apparently customer support is inexistent and not the company nor the shipping company will help you.Save your money. I've never had such a bad experience buying online.*UPDATE: So after 2h on the phone spent with DHL and the local courrier company, they found the package. After that "attempt" of delivery the package was sent back.60€ I'll never see again.
