The treatments did nothing for me at all. I did 6 visits along with dieting and spin cycling & never noticed the difference they said I would notice. Most of the staff was friendly, but front reception ppl were always cold & unfriendly.
Its total con. The lasor to remove vanes on my face did nothing. I was sweet talked into paying almost $4000 for Venus Bliss and Legacy. No results. Drinking a gallon of water a day and doing the fitness i was told to do. If any change occured it would have been from me not the machine. I feel like an utter fool. The women running this place should be so ashamed of them selves.
Stay away!! Waste of money! I had 10 treatments of Venus Legacy on the front of my thighs. Let me just say that I’m not overweight or obese at all. I just wanted to get rid of the cellulite on my thighs so I feel more confident wearing shorts. I’m in my 50’s and just wanted my legs to look a little better. I was not expecting to look like a bikini model. Well, I didn’t see any difference at any time. They kept telling me that it takes a while for the collagen to build up. I scheduled a treatment follow up 6 weeks after my final treatment because they said they like to wait 6 weeks to allow the collagen to build up and to see a real difference. They took an after picture. Guess what?? NO DIFFERENCE! The associate tried to say that my skin looked smoother. It absolutely didn’t! I’m beyond disappointed and felt taken advantage of. The amount of money I paid, even with the discount was absurd to not see any results! She offered me 1 complimentary treatment. I asked her “Do you really think 1 more treatment is going to change anything?” Please read all the reviews posted on multiple sites before you spend your hard earned money!
You have to try this place out! I just love my results! my girl Misty made me so comfortable and relaxed while getting my treatments. Before I knew it 25 min was up and I went about my day no down time. The other girls were sweet too! I would totally recommend this place. Good job ladies can’t wait to book another appt with u guys in the future!
I agree with the negative reviews! There was a change of staff at my location. I originally discovered Light Rx on Groupon in 2020. I had no idea what any of this was. After a phone consult Iasar lipo explained, but names are only used by Light rx.After paying for a facial procedure the last site supervisor or whatever they are called,recommended When I came in to start treatments 4 face told by the "new supervisor " the facial Treatment paid for wouldn't be enough for my severe facial issue. So, while I was feeling humiliated, I was then told I should apply for a loan to have more. Since covid. I had a bit of problems with credit. So.. I wasn't even thinking I'd need to address this issue. But, as I was lying flat on a table getting a lipo Treatment she came in the room with her laptop and proceeded to apply for me. Look, when u put someone,in my position who now feels horrible about how she looks, what would u do? I was informed I was approved, asked a couple irrelevant questions. Her laptop was put in front of my face ( still lying flat down) and told to sign here. Sign what? Never was I given terms of a loan,how much the loan was, the interest rate, nothing! Leaving, I received only one piece of paper. Which was folded and used to write my next apt. It wasn't until I got home and recovered from the big blast to my self esteem that I opened the paper. It basically looked to me and later confirmed a loan, in my name was taken out in the amount of 35 000 dollars! It stated this was paid to Light Rx on that day! I called and spoke with the same person and asked about the charges. I was then blatantly lied to about it, or at the very least, talked around my clear questions! Even after that conversation,I had no idea about any of my concerns. I never received ANY DOCUMENTATION RE: " THE LOAN" WHICH I LATER FOUND OUT THE ABOVE DETAILS! When I inquired for more info, I was only given a phone number. Seriously folks..I've had loans and this was in no way handled properly. I'm not even going to into how many times I called flat number with rude people who did nothing to help me.. Also during 2 of the first calls I was told it was voided nothing to worry about. No lie!!! Then after about 6 weeks or so I received an email mail I was late on a payment and I needed to pay 456 dollars? That amount maybe iff a few bucks because I'm writing this late in the evening and need to review exact amount. My credit took a hit! I received papers much much later! After yet another call to " UNIVERSAL LOANS" I finally found out the amount above was indeed already paid 2 th As it was the year Id been going there , I struggled with severe illnesses couldn't when start the tx bought on Groupon.Lazar lipo...I had an autoimmune disorder. When I reported it I was told I'd need a Doctor Clearance which I nwver got yet allowed to schedule Apts. At the time I started, the facial treatments"were not explained" microneedling for example. Disguised by names such as Viva this or that. Never. Ever was I told the first treatment would be just that! I'm a laymen I didn't know! For awhile I couldn't even get a facial treatment, the "machine was broken " Then one day I show up for a treatment for lipo, did nothing, btw..and was told machine fixed, cannot give me a little anesthetic, but go ahead with a treatment.I again blindly trusted went back got hooked up and was crying before it was over. It was only after, I was told that was indeed microneedling! I had a very bad reaction ( autoimmune issue") I called to tell them this. I was told I would just be able to get one facial treatment, they offered at that time.so...I already paid for that??? I asked for a refund, told it was requested. 30 60 days they said! After credit hits, several calls, to the site and cooperate office and Never ever got to talk to a Supervisor of Light Rx 6 requests. Each time told this was a regional supervisor who's always traveling and it could be 2 weeks before I'd hear from her! 3 months never did. 3 months more calls, finally yes, a refund but only for the amount of the loan I didn't I approve! Nor the 15,000 plus I paid!!! What???? I'm offered to swap mone I'm told with other treatments! I already started reputable treatments with qualified professionals.I'VE been kind to not mention the name of the person with, horrible communication,and way more of that regional manager. I already told them I wouldn't step foot back there or talk to her! A staff who was good at her job from my experience offered treatments replaced. I've yet to go back. Because I received that one aweful tx. They used that to deny what I paid for..Refund for loan paid to them only. So, my credit hit,my self esteem worse,a victim of unethical business practices, denied return calls from Any supervisor...seriously..who else issues? Let me know...Horrible on each and every level, learning consumer fraud as well...u
I purchased a laser hair removal package over a year ago. I never used the services due to Covid cases increasing. I called the main office 3 times to request a refund almost 2 months ago and was given the run around. I was put into someone’s voice mail and never received a call. I called this week and was told to call the local office in Saint Louis as the number I have been calling was “only a call center”. I left as message at the office and still have not gotten a return call. What is the problem here? Do I need to report them to the BBB? It looks like this is a common theme in their company. I just want my money back!! Put a review on Google and received a reply stating I would get a call from a manager. 2 days later..no call, again!!
Originally, I went to LightRx to get my facial and neck hair removed by laser treatments. After 3 years of torture and scarring, I had to give up as there are some patches of hair on my face that will not fall out permanently. I am a man so the hairs on my face and neck are too thick and coarse for their lasers to make fall out permanently. Now I have to live with my face looking dirty around my mouth and jaw areas where some patches of hair never fell out. I have a very high tolerance for pain but found their treatments to be almost unbearable. Once I got to setting 19 out of 20 on their laser machine, I received a 3rd degree burn on my left side of my face. It's been about two years since that treatment and now the burn is a white scar. The treatment also left scarring all over my jaw and sides of my lower face areas. Thus, I recently went back to LightRx to see what kind of treatments they had to help alleviate this unsightly condition. I was recommended their Venus Viva treatment so I bought a package of 3 treatments. Little did I know, I was buying a package of 700 "pulses" from their Venus gun, not actual treatments. On the invoice they sent me, it just said "3 Tx" so I assumed that was full treatments, especially since the sales consultant confirmed this to me (I tried to attach a copy of this invoice but Google doesn't accept PDF files). Never once did sales consultant mention anything about "pulses." The first two treatments went fine as the tech did my whole face. However, on the third treatment, the tech stopped after doing half my face and informed me that I was out of pulses. I didn't know what to say. She then informed me that I could buy another package of 700 pulses for $1,400. I told her that wasn't something I was interested in because I didn't see any results from the first two treatments so why would I waste more of my money. In my mind, the right thing for a business to do at that point would have been to offer me just enough pulses to buy to at least finish the other half of my face. The misleading marketing and services that don't work at this company left a bad taste in my mouth. They seem to be more interested in inflating their bottom line than about helping their customers.
