I bought a package for 40% off2days later I get a message saying I can get 50% off on ThursdayI go to light rx on ThursdayThey tell me they cannot refund the 10%I feel like I have been lied toAnd am now stuck with a $3,800.00 packageI have three friends who were interested in my resultsBut after this review they are considering another site
I spent over $5000 for skin tightening treatments with no results whatsoever. The staff was very kind & they did let me do treatments again. With no results again. Alexa, manager, told me before I spent that money that she would not let me leave with no results. I would at least like something that I know will work, like laser hair removal but they won't respond to emails. I was told the regional director emailed me, but she never did. Such a waste of my time & money but I totally trusted their expertise.
I go to the facility at Short Pump VA. First off, the staff is very attentive and professional. The facility is very clean and inviting. I’ve had several treatments on my thighs and I have been getting compliments from my family and friends. It has enhanced my self esteem and now I’m finally ready to wear a bathing suit. I’m getting my upper arms done next. I’m so excited regarding my results so far.
Purchased a Groupon for 40 units of Botox. Phone consultation with nurse required prior to an appointment. Groupon is redeemed at the end of the call before visiting facility for service. Was told I needed 4 additional units of Botox at my appointment. After 3+ weeks there’s minimum change in the area I received the Botox and the business claims results are not guaranteed. Not sure what was injected in my forehead since the business is not transparent and fills the needle behind the chair you’re sitting in. No consultation was done in person; how does a medical spa know they are able to meet a client’s needs without an in person assessment. By redeeming the Groupon prior to the appointment date, and requesting a signature acknowledging results are not guaranteed puts clients at a great disadvantage which seems to be unethical business practice.
Staff is Great, Friendly and Courteous. But the Laser Lipo Treatment Made me SICK. I had to go to ER 3 Times for IV Treatment From Dehydration for Being Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Loose Stool. I was Not forwarned about Possible Side Effects. Treatments Did NOTHING, and Nothing Has Changed. WASTED TIMES and MONEY. I Have Been SCAMMED. VERY, VERY DISAPOINTED.
Very disappointed ! They are more about pushing the services than making customers happy!I signed up to receive the laser treatments for broken capillaries and pigmentation. I've had different lasers before and I was surprised when the manager told me after my last treatment the pigmentation would be 100% gone. I asked if she was sure and she said sometimes patients may need a 5th session and if so they would offer it to me as they want their customers to be happy. After each session i barely noticed any improvement and every time I went they had a sale and they were asking if I wanted more sessions. I repeatedly told them I'm not comfortable paying for another package until I see results. Then after session 4 they take pics and asked me what I thought. They did point out some improvement in skin texture but I told them the pigmentation was still pretty visible and the capillaries weren't gone either and I reminded them of the 5th treatment but I told them based off the little progress after each treatment I had little confidence I'd be happy after the 5th. I also asked them why they told me they would be 100% gone and the manager told me for most clients after 4 treatments they are happy. She also told me she didn't tell me they would for sure be gone. I shook my head and told her I didn't appreciate the dishonesty. She also told me the damage must just be too deep with my skin and it isn't the laser not working. Really? I've had treatments before. The pigmentation ALWAYS come back. This one touted minimal discomfort and they told me no scabbing. That is what interested me BUT unfortunately minimal results. :(They advertise the membership with a free hydrofacial and a discount on botox. Do your homework first. They gave me the most botox I've ever received so even with the discount I paid MORE than i have elsewhere. The girl doing the botox was also pushing another product. I'd recommend finding another place to go don't let their sale prices pull you in!
Their negligence cost me a trip to urgent care. The esthetician wrongfully applied a chemical sunscreen to my face where it was noted in my initial consultation & file I’ve had allergic reactions to. They claimed it was the post laser treatment of Aerolase which was only targeted on my jawline/chin. It was clear that my eyes & face were swollen/red as a result from an allergic reaction which didn’t onset til hours later to the next day once the product absorbed into my skin. Then they claimed they never used a sunscreen post treatment and that it was the transformation cream, but I’ve already been using that for two weeks and never had a reaction. Isn’t it standard practice to apply sunscreen after any laser treatment anyways so were they denying to avoid accountability? They keep denying the facts considering the evidence and proof. Read their employee Glassdoor reviews, they’re unhappy and unethical and they value sales over safety.
Scammed me totally; when I complained about the services they refunded 10% of the full amount and said that for individual pricing this is what it costs. they make money convincing first-timers, They will not respond, there is no customer service, just a phone line. My money is gone without any services.
I have been coming to the LightRx location in Orland Park for about a year now and they never fail to disappoint. It’s always a clean, friendly and welcoming environment. The staff are simply wonderful and amazing and great to work and talk to. They always take the time to answer all my questions, are very punctual and thorough when they work with me. They only recommend services and products that I would benefit from and they are always in a positive mood.
A 3 is for the friendliness of the staff at the Charlotte location. A 1 is what I’d give the services. I am 57, in good shape physically, eat well, and work out with a personal trainer 2-3x a week in addition to what I do on my own. I tried the Bliss and Venus legacy treatment package to help with the fat perimenopause brings around the middle/back flanks and had zero results. Zero. Each week I’d go in there and weigh, discuss my eating habits, water intake, etc and every Bliss treatment they’d take measurements. They didn’t see any results either because the measurements never came up in conversation. At the end of the treatment I was offered complementary extra treatments which was appreciated (hence the 3 rating) but I declined and cut my losses. I also got the Glow package but their esthetician covers multiple locations and is only there 2x/mo. She was also nice although my lower lip (tried something new to soften the look where jowls are trying to appear) paralyzed after treatment. That was 3 weeks ago and I have to be careful or I’ll bite my lip when I eat. If you are going to spend $3600, do it elsewhere- I wish I’d taken that money to a wellness doctor and did a hormone test instead. Managing macros and diet combined with exercises plans designed specifically around hormone changes is the only answer for me.
