Little hotelier

Little hotelier. locked out of my account which I pay for! customer service is 1000% crap. do not waste your money on this software. Go for cloud beds much much better. I need to Enter verification code before I can log in which doesn't work that well! sick of sending emails to try and reset my authenticator app. the chat service is also crap.

This is honestly one of the worst experiences with a subscription based program. After signing up for a 'free trial' i noticed quickly within 2 days that this service was not for me. I attempted to cancel my subscription within 2 days to be told I cant - so will have to pay $39 aus for my 2 days. But also I cant cancel, I have to wait to hear from someone who will ask my why I want to cancel. After contacting the customer service they told me I cannot cancel until I hear from someone which will most likely take a week. Honestly it feels like a scam the way they run there customer service, and well all communications feels sketchy. WOULD NOT recommend, and still waiting for my cancellation. Also id like to add the platform in general was slow, taking 30mins plus to block out dates that have been providing making the whole process difficult and stressful .

UPDATE: Since I wrote this review I have been contacted several times by support (I don't know if they have seen the review or not) and I have to say they are working very hard to solve my issue, so in the interest of fairness, I feel that I have to update this review and say that they currently seem to be going out of their way to fix the problem. I don’t know what has gone wrong with little hotelier recently but customer service has gone from 5 star to none! It’s all about upselling now which is so disappointing. I have been with them for years now and have been extremely happy with the programme and the service. Now they have changed the system so that all automated emails (confirmation etc) going out to the guests comes from the apps “no reply@“ email address and there is no possibility to use your company’s own email(which was standard up until - few months ago) unless you purchase an add on. Result being guests are not receiving emails (landing in spam) and some simply don’t turn up assuming the booking never went through. This results in potential loss of revenue. We are being bombarded with calls from guests looking to confirm bookings because they didn’t receive the confirmation email! (They eventually find it in spam). Support simple say “purchase the add on” an expensive extra for a small business with lots of stuff that we don’t need or want. Looking to change channel manager asap

Absolutely useless customer service

Absolutely useless customer service. They were very good when I started with them about 6 years ago. Hopeless now. Every time you write to support, even replying to their emails, they start up another Case number. A different person responds asking for information that you have already given in previous messages & no one seems to know what they are doing. I have been trying to sort out an issue for over a year, which is costing me money. Worst booking site ever!!!!!!!!!

30-day free trial

Initially, I was frustrated to find that although I cancelled within the 30-day free trial, the cancellation wasn’t properly processed. I was later transferred to a different department that required 30 days' notice to cancel, resulting in an unexpected charge. After persistent follow-up on my part, Little Hotelier acknowledged the error, issued a refund, and assured me they’re taking steps to prevent this issue from happening to others. While the process was frustrating, I appreciate their eventual resolution and willingness to improve.

Stay well clear!

The worst software I have ever used. Clunky and super hard to use, and that's coming from a web developer. In addition to the software being terrible, the support is so incompetent; they are there just to answer requests, not actually help solve issues, as they have no idea. And don't even get me started on their after-sales upsell marketing tactics; it is relentless, it almost borders on harassment. And when you think it cannot get any worse, it is impossible to cancel the account. I have cancelled a number of times, and I'm still getting invoices. I haven't heard anything about my cancellation.

They won’t cancel Trial - Avoid

Extremely dodgy - refuses to cancel my trial despite 6+ requests. I signed up to their trial but I found their software so complicated and annoying (it kept turning my already listed Airbnb listing off) that I cancelled via their cancellation request form. When I didn’t receive a confirmation the next day I filled out the form again and called and was assured that I would receive a confirmation shortly. Over the next days I was bombared with sales calls offering me training but I didn’t receive a confirmation. I emailed them 3x times asking for cancellation but nothing. After 10 days I started a chat again asking for cancellation but was told their system doesn’t process the cancellation for some reason and that I should follow up the next day. Long story short, they still haven’t confirmed the cancellation and the automatic payment is still enabled in my account. They are the most dodgy company I’ve come across - they seem to try to force me to stay at all costs.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've been waiting for an update on my Little Hotelier Payout and no one is able to assist or solve my issue. Support is not being helpful. They said payout are sent in 2 days but it's not true. My account was verified via Stripe. I have my property connected from booking.com and received reservations and processed payments. However, no updates on payout. This is ridiculous.
