"Speak as you find"

Had I read the reviews before placing the order it is questionable as to whether I would now be about to start installation. Yes, I was apprehensive, particularly as I had paid by debit card and not credit card and despite ordering before 2.30pm Next Day Delivery appeared more and more doubtful. Indeed, Next Day Delivery did not happen, unfortunately for me that was a Friday so I had to wait until Monday and there they were on the doorstep before 10.00am. As others have said, give them a chance, a good product at the best available price. It would appear that whoever is 'administering' is doing so effectively.

Delayed delivery buy happy with customer service

Ordered a lot of loft stilts but received no tracking ID and two days later (after reading a lot of bad reviews) was concerned they weren't going to arrive in time. No response to email or online chat so I rang the phone number. The guy answered straight away, I explained the situation and was put on hold. He came back and apologised, explained the stilts had been dispatched and provided a tracking ID. It all added up when I checked DPD and the stilts arrived within 24 hours of the phone call. So, while I was disappointed not to get next day delivery after my order was placed, I was very pleased with the the response I got when I called, hence the 5 stars.

Happy customer

I just had my delivery today after ordering late on 1/10/22 and I got advice of shipping and a track reference yesterday.Because of the uncertainty over the liquidation I placed an order for 96 stilts so as to be over £100 and bought by credit card. That meant I was covered by credit card section 75 refunds. This turned out to be an unneccessary precaution. So a good success, with well priced stilts ready to improve my loft insulation delivered promptly even if not quite next working day. The stilts came in good quality boxes containing 32 each box which is much better for handling and storage than the retail boxes of 12.

Nothing has arrived yet. Contacted several times and told someone would get back to me, now when calling no answer. Have put through a credit card claim to try to get my money back and ordered from a supplier on amazon who were around 20p per stilt more expensive and arrived 2 days later.

Rubbish comms but delivered items following week.

After reading the reviews on here after I had placed my order I started to worry. Their customer communications are shocking (non-existent). But I ordered on 20th Sept, items were dispatched on 27th Sept, the day after I messaged them and arrived on 29th.I think it is very much down to demand, so I was happy when the stilts arrived. They are the same as B&Q/Screwfix ones and did the job nicely.

Very strange experience.

Very strange experience.No confirmation of despatch for the "next day" delivery (only got it a week after my payment), no reply over the web chat or email regarding order, even after multiple days, despite it saying they reply immediately.I put a charge back request through given everything on here and then the order turned up a week later than expected.All they would have to do is update their website to reflect the delays, stop promising next day delivery and nobody would have a problem.I've had to call the bank now to let them know the goods arrived so the charge back gets cancelled once they reject the dispute. I'm hoping they actually respond to the bank as I don't want to take the money back now I've actually got the items.Absolutely bonkers way to run your business and must be a massive pain for professionals trying to organise jobs. I nearly went elsewhere and bought more, so then it really would've been a mess. However I did receive my goods, so thank you.Please sort your communication out though.

Was concerned but have received the product

Having seen the other reviews I was really concerned that the loft stilts I'd ordered would not arrive. But despite the poor communication from seller the product was delivered this morning (but not next day as advertised on their website). Ordered on 18/9/2022 received 29/9/2022 delivered by DPD to the door. They appear to be the same as sold in B&Q and Screwfix and at considerably less cost. So basically, please give the company a break, they seem to be swamped with orders and are having issues meeting the demand as quickly as they promise. Couldn't get a response on their webchat or telephone so they really need to improve their communication with their customers so they're not worried whether the items will arrive.

Products do exist, lack of communication is the issue

Having already started the project with this style of loft legs I wanted to continue, and these were the best price I found. I placed the order, and was pleased that I could expect next day delivery. When I still hadn't received a dispatch confirmation a few days later I checked Trustpilot and my heart sank. I tried getting in contact with the company but no response, so put in a claim with Paypal. In the meantime, after regularly checking stock I finally managed to secure a few boxes at a higher price at B&Q locally, after being repeatedly shown out of stock nearby. I hadn't had chance to open them when I got a dispatch confirmation. Following day, no estimated delivery time. Day after, same thing. I used to work in online retail so know that is not a good sign. So I was very surprised this morning to get a delivery timeslot, and lo and behold, two boxes of loft legs turned up. Now I have them in my possession looks like a return trip to B&Q to return theirs. With B&Q also having stock issues it looks like it necessarily isn't the company's fault, but it would be far better had they advertised this on their site - had I know there would have been a delay this would not have been a problem, it was the not knowing and no reply to attempts to get in touch that was the problem.

Use This Company at Your Own Risk!

Ordered pack of 64 on 27 September 2022. It said next day delivery but gave it a few days. On 2nd October, I checked tracking on DHL and their website said it had been collected but delayed in collection depot. On 4th October I called DHL who said it wasn’t in their system and hadn’t been collected. Called Loft Stilts and I was told DHL were having problems but if I didn’t receive delivery by 10th Oct, they would send new pack. Nothing received, nobody answering calls or emails. I have now claimed money back from credit card. This company are useless

This company is in administration DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER

This company is in administration (I am unable to insert a link here but Google 'companies house birmingham innovations' and click on the top link) but you can still place orders via their web site which will not be satisfied. I placed an order on 16 September 2022 which has not been satisfied and I have been unable to contact them.
