The NVR failed after three years

The NVR failed after three years. The company no longer supports the cameras or NVR purchased at that time. It was a $2,700 system. Even when working, the cameras could only read a licence plate within about 50ft of the camera lens so most often the footage was not useful for identifying individuals or cars. Very disappointing outcome.I appreciate your concern. Is there something that can be done? I would not expect a system from Lorex to fail after three years.

The technician was good at guiding me through the system and troubleshooting problems. Would have been nicer if they were a little bit louder but everything worked well

Faulty product, poor customer service

Purchased a DVR system from Costco two years ago. The DVR itself stopped working and Costco advised me to contact Lorex directly. When I contacted their sales email to purchase another DVR, since it's not longer under warranty, they told me that I need to call or use the chat feature on their website. Not the sales email that is advertised on their site.While the lack of support for a faulty product is frustrating, the lack of service is a deal breaker.

customer service is horrible

customer service is horrible. Don’t trust this company when it comes with troubleshooting. They barely know their products and their automated responses on here are just a bunch of bull. They also don’t like to give out replacements when their stuff breaks within warranty.
