MESSAGE TO THE FCATHEY ARE NOW HOUNDING MY DISABLED WIFE VIA EMAIL WHICH THE INFORMATION HAS BEEN PASSED TO THEM BY THE INFORMATION COMPANY “LexisNexis”WHICH IS A DATA MINING COMPANY. ALSO KNOWN AS CREDIVA. YOU ARE NOT HOUNDING HER, OR BEING NICE SINCE YOU TRIED TO TAKE HER TO COURT A FEW YEARS BACK, WHICH BACK FIRED ON YOU BECAUSE YOU ISSUED A “NOTICE OF DISCONTINUANCE” TO HER. SHE HAS A PHONE, AND HER PLACE OF SANCTUARY IS HER HOUSE, WHICH THIS IS A FORM OF BULLYING BY TARGETING HER IN HER OWN HOME. LEAVE IT NOW. BECAREFUL ON HOW FAR YOU GO.PROVIDENT PERSONAL CREDIT LAUGHED AT ME YEARS AGO WHEN AN AGENT STOLE £3800 OF HER. FOR 7 YEARS I FOUGHT WITH THE RELEVANT BODIES AND NOW THEY ARE IN LIQUIDATION. GOOD LUCK. INFORMATION IS POWER, NOT MONEY.

Never provide this company with personal information

Recieved a correspondent from this company last October stating I owed them money for debt they bought from a utility company. The male advisor was rude on the phone refusing to provide me information unless I have him my personal details of course I refused due data protection. I asked the male advisor to send me full details of the case to my home address, the guy refused which made think it was a scam. I contacted FCA they advised me to send a burden of proof letter (which basically means the company must prove you owe the debt). Lowell refused to reply but continued to harass me by phone until I issued them with written letter to stop them calling me. The company has still refused to send me details,If you have any concerns relating to this company my advice would be simply keep a pair trail, don't contact or answer their phone calls, don't provide them with any information about you as the burden of proof lay with Lowell not you.

Not just Robbers and Robots!!

I contacted Lowell on behalf of someone else and spoke with Debbie I only know her first name and number 7232 and NO, she is not a robot! She is however a human being. Debbie was polite, courteous and professional. She showed empathy and compassion taking the time to listen understand and suggest the best way to resolve any outstanding Debts. She proved that this company wasn't just about taking all your money but recognising your situation and putting in place a fair and affordable plan. Thank you Debbie you are a credit to your company.

If I could give less that one star I…

If I could give less that one star I would. similar as below had proof of financial abuse have had to rehash horrific memories to provide proof to the company. and the fact EE have said the default has nothing to do with them anymore lowell just won't play ball. Given the new legislation to protect vunerable people from this abuse I will be reporting lowell are not in compliance and do not protect vunerable people. given the fact the debt is Also paid and as a result of not removing default im looking forward to being homeless

Report this company

Report this companyI've had to make several reports about this company to Financial Conduct Authority as the Lowell tried and failed to obtain £765.23p from my self. what I did was write to the company only using the information on the letter they sent out (do not ever disclose other information like your date of birth, email or contact number even if you contact them as this give this company the upper hand, infact never call them all use email as this give you paper trail.lowell ignored my request for evidence and under consumer law act the burden is on lowell to prove you owe the money not the other way around.i then reported the company to information commissioner office, they helped and lowell ignored them, so i ssued court papers which the company ignored anyway took this company to court and they were found guilty of not providing evidence to customer which is law and they were found guilty or trying to obtain money by fraudulent means. hence to say they had to pay cost and compensation, they had to remove the default from credit file don't ever pay this company until they can prove you actually owe it.Replying to CatherineFirstly the lady did not direct message me and she a complete liar. the Information commissioner office and Trading standards make if perfectly clear not to provide this company with any details about yourself and the burden of proof relating to a debt is placed on the company to prove not you this is the lawso please if you receive a letter from this company do not phone them or provide them any information about you, just clearly send them an email asking for the case file under freedom of information act , this can be done just by using the reference this company provides on their letters, do not give them any another information as they could alter the details they hold about you.

Poor treatment of victims of fraud and violence!!!

Lowell have received a substantial amount of evidence from myself, police and many other agencies, stating that the debts they are reporting are incorrect, the debts were built up by my ex partner, in my name during a domestic violence relationship. Lowell have received all evidence, whilst agreeing with the evidence and closing the accounts, they are still refusing to remove the defaults despite all accepted evidence proving these debts do not belong to me.

I received a bill several years after…

I received a bill several years after leaving a rented property that I was unaware of that wasnt my sole responsibility .I was asked to verify this , which I did and I could prove with bank statements and a tenancy agreement from the estate agents that it was a joint tenancy and my half of the bill was paid on time fully but they still put a default on my credit rating for £200 for a bill that I was not responsible for even though i agreed to pay a further 50% on a bill that wasnt mine as a gesture of payment that they accepted . It's now affecting my credit score . The person who I liased with on the phone at Lowell did not inform me of this and accepted my proof of my payment of half of the bill on time and my tenancy agreement, I was not informed it would affect my credit rating for a bill that was not mine to pay . This seems very unfair .

Debt settled in full

Debt settled in full, decided to put a default on credit file 1 month later. There was never a default from the original creditor - therefore; Lowell have gone out of there way to create a default. I have made a formal compliant since but still have not heard back from anyone.
